  1. No problem. Poaching should be expected when they have such an elite international scouting department such as MKE has currently.
  2. No idea. Just that he’s no longer listed in the FO directory as Jim pointed out.
  3. If the team has indeed lost Luis Perez from the international department that would be bad news for sure.
  4. Yeah, Tampa & LAD SEEM to have the most SP arm injuries. Hard to come up with a Dodger pitcher that hasn’t had TJ or a major shoulder injury. Don’t think it’s just bad luck, but who knows.
  5. Miller no, Sheehan yes. I normally would never acquire a young Dodgers starting pitcher due to the likelihood of damaged goods, but Sheehan would be the exception due to his coming off TJ surgery last year and being able to finish his rehab in the Brewers system.
  6. Sheehan would be the 1 Dodgers pitcher I’d trade for since he’s already had his TJ and would pitch at some point later this season. Ive never seen a team with more starting pitcher arm injuries than the LAD, it’s almost comical.
  7. Trading him off by sending a prospect package with him so we can sign Goldschmidt sounds like a good plan to me.
  8. Buyer beware when it comes to trading for LAD starting pitchers. Never seen so many starting pitchers blowing out their arms.
  9. Probably not, or they wouldn’t have done them. Winning the WS could be worth a billion dollars or more if we include franchise-value increase. Its becoming anybody’s guess at this point.
  10. I think an OD payroll of $130M is way too high. Somewhere around $115M would likely be much closer.
  11. Nice job Spencer & Joseph. It really is hard to grasp just how much IF talent this team has in their system, both depth & impact potential. Couldn’t agree more with you Joseph — this really is the golden age of Brewers fandom — and the best part is, it’s in the early stages.
  12. Turnbull at $7M for 1 year would be the type of FA starter addition this team would make.
  13. Patrick’s last 3 starts: 17 IP 6H 2BB 27K That domination couldn’t go unnoticed, and not just by the Brewers. The team needs depth starters and Patrick gives the team a solid option next season.
  14. Smith over Crow. EMJ rostered — just too strong of a second-half of a season to take a chance on losing him. Patrick rostered — Last 3 starts: 17 IP 6 H 2 BB 27K Clarke — No.
  15. They also have him at a FV of 65 which should make him a top 5-10 prospect in the game.
  16. Bohm has improved in the box in his junior and senior years. 107 &115 wRC+ and will play the next 2 years at age 28 & 29, prime performance years with veteran playoff experience. And as Sveum has already pointed out, crushes LHP, the team’s Achilles heal. Last year he improved his defense to a smidgen above average and if the team thinks that can be maintained the next 2 years, this is a 3+ WAR 3B that helps this offensive vs LHP in a big way, which considering their work vs lefties can’t be discounted. Imo, the team see’s one of Pratt-Made likely taking over 3B in 2027, and needs not just a stopgap 3B but an above average one at that.
  17. Not great at 3B, but improved over his previous play last season, enough to get him over 3 WAR.
  18. Black’s best defensive position is OF (CF/LF). None of us have any idea what the Phillies think of Black, for all we know they like him better than Frelick, especially with an extra control year.
  19. Williams & Black for: Bohm & Wen Hui Pan (RHP) We get a 3–3.5 WAR (last year) 3B at $8M this season and ~$12M next season plus a big armed pitching prospect that throws upper 90’s with a nasty splitter we can bullpen. Also been reported the Phillies want to improve their pen and OF. If they like Black, this could be the team to deal with.
  20. Incredible job with the information and analysis provided. This class is far and away the best IFA class in baseball, which statistically you showed to be more than just opinion. The last 3 prospect-procurement classes have added enough talent to give this team as deep a group of prospect talent as they’ve ever had and along with Tampa, as deep a farm as there is in this game. And then we have next year’s 5 top 68 pick/$17M in pool money draft-class to look forward to. Incredible time to be Brewers fan.
  21. If Made does for Carolina what he did in the DSL, he’ll not only be our #1 prospect, but quite possibly the #1 prospect in baseball.
  22. We haven’t had a prospect like Made since Chourio. He has to be our #1 prospect on potential superstardom alone, right?
  23. Agree with Sveum that he doesn’t seem to care about the money. Just too many reasons for him to go to LAD. Fellow countrymen — Large Asian community — Weather — Play with the most talented team in the game.
  24. I would be flabbergasted if he doesn’t want to play baseball in LA and for the Dodgers with his fellow countrymen Yamamoto & Ohtani.
