  1. Bill Belichick on Morgan "He's a left tackle all the way...he's a good person, good kid, but he's a LEFT TACKLE....you know what the problem is when you don't have at Tackle. I would say there's no way he was getting out of the first round." ---Can I just take that from Bill Bellichick the Coach and not the GM to make me feel better!
  2. Yeah...I really want to see depth added to the OL, but I wouldn't love a 2nd OL when we need help in the secondary with this new scheme(and LB). I also think he'd be there at 41. But I get the logic. You stack that OL...I think they'll just see how it plays out at Center. Tom could move there, Myers is still under contract. I wouldn't move up for a Centr-only prospect.
  3. Ok...so Kool-Aid and the gang are still in play. Kool-Aid, DeJean, Melton, Sainstril(doesn't meet the "thresholds," but I don't care, great slot and physical).
  4. I think they need to get at least 2 more. And there are a ton of guys. Blake Fisher is a guy I really like from ND. Kiran-not gonna try the last name-could play. Coleman from TCU is interesting. Several other OL more than worthy of day 2 picks. I would think SF would have taken Morgan. So...good stuff. Kool-Aid to SF?
  5. No, it's not a reach or a bad pick at all. I'm just saying I liked Guyton more, a guy who I think has a little more upside...and Morgan lost a little luster for me with the combine. But like I said earlier, what the hell do I know? I'm not scouting these guys. I watch some YT clips and look at big boards. I'm on board with it. I had him in a couple mocks...so good, solid pick.
  6. Baltimore fans banging the drums for DeJean...they have Marcus Williams and Kyle Hamilton, so not sure that's a great fit. Dallas moves back and picks up a 3rd...now I REALLY have to think they go Guyton here...they like taking OL in Rd1 and they don't mind developing them. Tyron Smith is gone? Then again, I thought that would be the case as #24. They also need a LB.
  7. I've been screaming for an OL and...this just wasn't who I was expected.
  8. LOL....love the McAfee show at times! https://x.com/PatMcAfeeShow/status/1783696648914227696
  9. It does. That's how you win games. Keep your QB clean, open the running lanes and then get after the QB. Buffalo trading back is strange. I would have thought they'd want Worthy and KC has been desperately trying to replace Hill's speed to no avail. The fastest guy EVER would be scary with Mahomes.
  10. They've said a lot about Walker...nothing negative, but they haven't really shown the support for him that would suggest they're sold. I'm going off Andy Herman repeating MLF/Gute comments. Maybe. His arms are just a little under 33. That usually means IOL, but there are certainly OTs who've had success with their arm length. KC going Worthy here? He'd make that offense SO much more dangerous...
  11. Oh...yeah, you nailed that. A guy we wouldn't be real excited about(I just need to go back to about 3 months ago when I was really excited about him). This kinda feels like a Zach Tom type pick. A guy who just fit what the Packers want and what they do and wasn't the sexiest pick, but the guy can play LT(maybe, don't like the arm length) and Guard. Still coming back from that ACL.
  12. Now I wonder if there's any way they'd move back up from #41 if DeJean is still on the board at the end of Rd1?
  13. Yeah...he's a guy I liked a lot as well and then kinda cooled on. Thought he was more of an option at #41. But if we'd have taken Edggerin Cooper at #25 and Morgan at #41, I'd have been alright with it.
  14. I was all in on him as a OT...before the combine and then he had those shorter arms. But he was a projected 1st last year before the knee injury...I'm good with it.
  15. Dude...can you just let us watch this play out on TV?
  16. Well, that's good. It's either DeJean or someone they really think is a good fit. Edggerin...there are 2-3 OL I'd be happy-ish with.
  17. Ladd? I'd like a Ladd on our team.
  18. I don't know, but they'll find a way.
  19. I'm split here. Cooper DeJean is a great fit...at the very least at Safety and I think he can play CB with more reps in man. Tyler Guyton has also been one of my draft crushes. I'd prefer to move down 3-4 spots if possible to get Guyton. Wiggins is probably the best pure cover corner, but he's so light and bad vs the run....
  20. I guess we can't.
  21. It HAS to be...that's their biggest need. DeJean would be a little redundant with Branch... Arnold makes too much sense(hope it's Wiggins though).
  22. Did Detroit just trade in front of us to get Arnold? Highly doubt it'd be DeJean. My guess is Chop.
  23. If a team that doesn't have a lot of picks really wants to move up and get back into the 1st, I'd make them give up a 1st. Andy Herman broke it down. One trade was Denver trading a future 1st for a pick in the 40s and then a pick in the 4th. That'd be great value. Terrion Arnold doesn't excite me, but that's mainly because I haven't watched any of his clips. I watched Mitchell, but then he kinda went flying by us. Moving down, pick up extra '25 capital and then maybe back up as we did for Jaire would certainly be an interesting way to go.
  24. Of course...it's just Peter, "I do this for a living, we're not alike," with the 'let me repeat what I said earlier because I'm that right.' It can go wrong like when we traded back and passed up Watt or it can pay off like when we traded back for Jordy.
  25. This kinda made me chuckle...
