I'd have a stronger opinion if Ortiz wasn't swinging at stuff a foot+ up out of the zone multiple times yesterday(and he turned on one and DAMN near gave us a 4-2 lead... I mean, it was well foul, but he barreled it up).
I'll be 100% fine with it. Get Chourio to 2nd with Willy and Bauers coming up? I'm good with that.
And then Vaughn in place of Yelich with the lefty coming in. Maybe show bunt, give Chourio a chance to run(though tougher with a lefty, so... I would definitely not mind a bunt here.
Make SD play defense. A nice drag bunt?
Leadoff runner.
And... I can say with a pretty high level of certainty, that was not intentional!
Ok, Campusano has a good, not great arm. We going here? Turang HAS to come up big here...
Yeah, I'm not arguing that. The defense was abnormally shaky... though, two of those walks, I think they swing. Machado definitely did.
But, yes, they have to be sharper and they're really running otu of chances before we get to Miller territory.
Really? Lara?
Well... I just don't get that. I like both. Frelick is a gamer(kinda overused term, but you get it).
But Lara is our future CFer and has good ABs.
Yeah... this is true. Negativity is... magnified.
I hate it... but I get people really want to see a WS, but I'm less active for that reason. This stuff makes me too damn... stressed out.
Yes, they do. They hung cards in STing on when was a good time to challenge and when not to for their hitters(Green for good time, Red for... bad obviously).
Still left it up to the hitters obviously IF it was a ball/strike, but what situations, they mostly decided. They talked about what situations to use it...
The Brewers have their whole... "when to challenge," and 3-0 isn't one of them. That FB up looked... up, but close.
I'm more upset watching strike 3 middle-middle.
It's just... again so much comes down to luck. You hit that LD to CF at 105 or whatever(it was over 100 MPH)... that could have changed the game...
And these check swings are... frustrating. I get both have been on LHers for the Brewers vs RHHers for the Pads(that weren't called)... but it feels really inconsistent.
Yeah... that was pissing me off because they had me thinking... they lost(or were down 4-3... but with Miller coming in).
Just repeating "that's going to be a HR," and that's AFTER they say... they heard the rules before the game. Fair, it's in play.
