dont worry...it will happen if/when you have kids. my 2 1/2 year old is extremely attached. we have another coming in august so we are likely going to play the "you have to give them to baby brother" game. our pediatrician is not worried so we are not either...yet

i was going to suggest that as well, even though i never spent the summers in madison. i was there one year and we were able to see them pretty well from the pier at my place at the end of henry street. maybe by the band practice field area/soccer field by the hospital? this is strictly a guess...especially since i havent been on the west side of campus since i graduated in '01.

i really wanted to use "making it rain with nickels" for my team last year, but that was apparently too long. shortened it to "making it rain" and won the league. i have friends who have used some fantastic names, but i would likely get a strike for posting any of them here.

i have heard of this happening before. one of the less obvious ways to do it is for the catcher to think that a pitchout is coming. -

or if you made over a certain amount, the amount of the check was lowered gradually until you got zero because you are so darn rich already.

initially they were using the large detour since many of the smaller roads were also under water. i am guessing some of those have subsided now.

planes are taking off and arriving FWIW. my neighborhood near howell and howard was hit pretty rough. about 10 trees down. most sheared. one directly across the street pulled right from the ground. east howard right in front of my house was flooded over the median. i was attempting to clean out the storm sewer and water was up to my knees. i have pics but am not ambitious enough to upload them yet. we dodged bullets all day in bay view, but finally got nailed good. if you enter before 4 monday-friday, it is only $8 a person...about half price. if your kids are 10 and under, they are only $3. there is also some sort of promotion with the brewers and summerfest...cant remember the details

MLB cracks down on unlicensed little league jerseys

my little league had the hats of the teams we played for, but the uni's were generic. how about some deals with new era and/or majestic where they can use the MLB stuff as long as it comes from those companies. nobody is harmed. MLB and their partners get their dough, and the kids get to "play" for a MLB team -
i have been successful on ebay for tickets that are in demand (cubs, etc.) i have also been successful getting a few bucks outside the park...though they have definitely stepped up the presence around the home plate ticket window. i was usually just looking to get some beer money...maybe 2 for the price of 1...and would snag people walking up to the window. this year i have tried down near the actual resale zone, but it has been crowded with tickets so far.

the 620 morning show is also auctioning off a package that includes: tickets to the 6/1 game a limo ride to the event with rickie tickets to the dinner probably info on their website, but they were talking about it this morning.

just use the clark howard belief on this...make sure you go in to the sales pitch "with two broken arms"...do not sign to anything. not a scam...but a very hard sell.

that is actually a pretty darn good line-up from a name standpoint. i am well beyond my concert-going days, but i would go see many of those bands if that was my thing still.
