  1. they generally show games when they do not conflict with the bucks
  2. i think they ask for the pass when preferred is sold out ahead of time...opening day and the cubs games mainly i think. we tried preferred for the day game in july and were turned away. the entire lot near the sausage haus was full of buses...the entire lot!!
  3. can CC do what KG did for the wolves...buy the entire crowd a beer?? http://query.nytimes.com/...43FF937A25751C0A9649C8B63
  4. he is an independent musician being paid by the milwaukee brewers (or Fridays's, which is located in the stadium run by the milwaukee brewers) i think they gave out state quarters a few times, usually of the state of the visiting team IIRC. i just remember seeing them give away entire 50-state collections near the end of the game. i was wondering if anyone took this set to the concession stand to buy a beer and a brat.
  5. this sounds right. they said the same thing about opening day as well. they expect parking to sell out before saturday, but will sell it if available. as a side note, i wouldnt count on anything this weekend.
  6. the brewers are still definitely pushing the playoff tickets with 09 deposits. just got an email from them even though i am already a full season ticket holder.
  7. this never happened. there is no way to enforce this. what if your ticket is at will call? what if a friend has your ticket? great idea, but implementation would be difficult.
  8. js is reporting this is still valid as of 9am this morning. i am sure they will release playoff tickets just like they do opening day tickets. there are always some left last minute...you just have to have good timing.
  9. get yourself a brewers license plate holder...problem solved! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  10. i heard the same. MLB saved me money by making the locker room shirts so unattractive. $35 for an adjustable hat is also pretty steep IMO

  14. thank you...i have been trying to figure this one out for at least 5 years!!
  15. more than friday, but way less than saturday. they were real quiet in my area in 421. most left right away...a couple stayed.
  16. you can still commit to at least a 20 pack for '09 and get tickets according to the local news this morning EDIT: 20 games gets you one ticket to the NLDS and NLCS 40 games gets you tickets to all games, as does a full season LINK
  17. just a quick recap of his donations this year: $50,000 to the MACC Fund $20,000 to the County Parks to repair flooded fields $10,000 to Koos for Kids (headed by BP catcher Marcus Hanel) $13,750 for K's for a Cause - $25 per home K (something like 550 so far this year IIRC) $75,000 last night ($20 average ticket...probably a low-end figure since some of the seats were 100 and 200 tickets) $168,500 (plus probably many others that are publicized) this may only be about 1.5% of his salary, but it is probably WAY more than the average player i would guess!
  18. whatever...none of them have jobs anyways. just ask lee elia!!
  19. maybe its a sign of the slowing economy http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif havent paid much attention to this one...that will happen when i am not at work!

  21. nothing like looking forward to 2009 already! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  22. i would think looking through statements would solve that. they have to account for your money somehow
  23. i have been a credit union member in madison and milwaukee...both were fantastic. i am currently a member of educator's credit union. they are terrific.
  24. a small percentage of homes have HDTV. at one point i remember seeing something like 10%...i am sure it is a little higher now. people who have them are way ahead of the television industry. they are catching up though. all 2009 games on FSN will be in HD. while it does suck, those with HD are way ahead of the curve.
  25. i think my next door neighbor is selling one. it is in his driveway with flags on/around it. havent seen a price or anything though
