  1. I used to work 80-100 hour weeks every summer. I stopped doing that now and am only at 40-50. It feels like I am barely working and is awesome.
  2. Do it. I have been an EV owner in a small town with no infrastructure. There has been one time in 3 years where I wish I had an ICE vehicle. The number of times I am glad to have an EV are quite often. As many manufacturers are opening up to the Tesla Supercharger system, that will remove any regrets I could have with an EV. When it comes to EVs not selling, dealers were still adding ADM to the sticker price when I was looking a couple of months ago. It was nice looking but I'm not spending $90,000 on a Mustang Mach-e after fees.
  3. With the extra Wild Card, there may not be a lot of teams selling. It seems like the trade market may be a major sellers market and it might make more sense to give Keston another shot versus a trade.
  4. This is MUCH better than the Pro Bowl that people watch
  5. Use any prospect capital on some guys that can hit please.
  6. If you are trading Yelich and Adames, you might as well trade Burnes, Woodruff and Miley too. I can't see the team doing that unless there are overpays.
  7. The Brewers absolutely have the prospect capital to trade for Robert if they want to. Chourio and Quero or Misio get it done no question. This is an above average farm system with top level talent.
  8. No one ever questioned the defense of Quero so you knew he would be a MLB backup as a floor. If how he is hitting now is what he will develop into, he is a top 10 prospect in MLB. With all of that said, Chourio is the better prospect based on age but both are some of the better prospects we've had.
  9. Cherry picking stats makes your argument not too strong. The games all counted the same. Either way, the trade was a good one when looking at it overall.
  10. MLB teams kick in money for players in trades all of the time.
  11. Other than 2nd round picks in the NBA, where does this happen in any other major league?
  12. This would be much more exciting if you could trade picks. It's time, MLB.
  13. Are we forgetting he wasn't dominant and Rodgers was actually better after we acquired him?
  14. Considering the Padres are paying Hader 14 million, this trade is an easy win for the Brewers
  15. If I felt we were a Robert away from winning a World Series, you consider trading Chourio for him. I think where we are at now, that would be a bad decision.
  16. No way the Brewers are going to trade Chourio for Alonso or old ass Goldschmidt, come on now.
  17. You literally said "but the SPR also hasn't been replenished one bit". I was just providing an article that proves that is false and they have started buying, even if a little bit.
  18. Except it has? https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/stock-market-today-dow-jones-06-09-2023/card/the-u-s-has-started-to-refill-its-strategic-petroleum-reserve-fd8oPYWqYIgkub7QKgeg
  19. Yeah when people freak out about gas going up a quarter a gallon which comes out to less than what this will cost them...
  20. According to the business/market station I was watching this morning, they said this will affect 40 million Americans with an average payment of $250 per month. That is not insignificant.
  21. Nah, I would take an argument that the student loan repayment is going to have a bigger effect than unemployment/participation rate. We are FAR away from worrying about that.
  22. I'd prefer we try and find some guys that can hit a baseball.
  23. Similar comments from my friends that are Bears, "it's coming and it will be bad!" If unemployment gets above 5%, then I will start to listen to Bears.
