Under the Radar (3B, 2B, SS) Targets
wallus replied to BraunWeeksFielder's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
Okay, so what is the solution here? The infield as it currently stands is not good enough. Drury stinks. Moncada? Trade? Durbin should replace Monasterio, no way he should be handed the job. Dunn didn't do enough last year either to be handed the job -
13-15 mil for half a season is a little risky. If we had the payroll room, maybe it would have been worth it. A good thing for the Rays is they can offer him the QO after he turns down the PO which is the most likely outcome.

This thread needs Brewers888. If you're going to go dumpster fire, you go full dumpster fire.

Would you accept the Paul Skenes card offer?
wallus replied to Frisbee Slider's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
This is marketing ... Pretty obvious. -
If we have very limited money left, would like it to be spent on an infielder. Right now, we probably have the worst offensive 7-9 part of our lineup in the league or pretty close to it.
-
Wonder if that means Bregman will be heading back to the Astros now.... Anyways, it would be great if Bregman would sign so the rest of the 3B options could go off of the board.
-
The Bucks need to get younger and faster. Butler accomplishes neither of those things.
-
🙄
-
It's a little surprising that Bregman hasn't signed yet. Perhaps some team will sign him to a 3 year deal with a higher AAV with some deferrals that really could use a 3B.

Cubs were runner up on Scott so at least he isn't in the division
-
An Eagles loss away from a perfect sports weekend
-
Let's get ready to pounce on whomever they need to DFA from their 40 man roster!!

Tiktok is worse by a mile. I only navigate it because I need to use it for marketing my business.
-
The meltdown I have seen over Tiktok is kinda sad
-
It's different to go for it on 4th down when you have a QB that can run
-
With how incredibly cocky I have seen Lions fans all over the internet, them losing would be awesome.
-
Worst news of the off-season by a mile. RIP Mr. Baseball
-
If he is going to be in the bullpen to start the season, then have him pitch multiple innings.
-
According to Curt Hogg, the payroll is at 108.8 million compared to 104.3 last season. Note that between buyouts and deferrals, the Brewers are paying 11.75 million this year. Paying ~10% of your payroll for guys not on the roster isn't ideal.

Brendan Rodgers from the Rockies
wallus replied to Scooterfletcher's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
You guys, Rodgers is a .631 career hitter away from Coors.... pass except for a minor league deal. -
The need for another veteran infielder is quite high on the team. I don't know if Iglesias is the guy
-
That Rengifo one is bizarre imo
-
Well that isn't great. Hey William, don't go to the hearing if there is one okay?
-
Lots of emphasis on a title that may have not been perfect. Below sums that up quite nicely.
