  1. I saw him mid 2nd. But hey, if they like him - that's good for them. I remember last year Savage was seen as a bit of a reach - but we liked the guy, and he wasn't going to last to us. So Gute got him. I changed my post, as there was some variance. But roughly the 10th best CB in the draft.
  2. Arnette had a 2nd-3rd round grade.
  3. I think the WRs sliding make it very possible that Murray or Queen make it to 30. One of them (Queen?) goes to Baltimore at 28, but I think Murray may fall to us now.
  4. WRs continue to slide.....
  5. Did same thing to the Bears a few years ago I think. Yep. That was the Trubisky trade.
  6. So the 49ers drop back a spot and still get to grab their pick of the WRs, while grabbing an extra pick....
  7. Tampa moves up a spot to draft a tackle that SF wasn’t going to take?
  8. Ruggs over Jeudy and Lamb...
  9. Or Jeudy Jets go WR here, but the 49ers are probably getting Jeudy or Lamb. Or not. Holy crap.... are the WRs going to slide?
  10. Or Jeudy Jets go WR here, but the 49ers are probably getting Jeudy or Lamb.
  11. Is the ghost of Robert Gallery haunting Tristan Wirfs here?
  12. Few surprises so far, minus the Giants’ minor reach.
  13. The Giants like their guys, even if their guys aren’t the best on the board and they could trade back 10 spots and get them...
  14. I think the league puts an arbitrary 1000 point value on a future first(or did at one time) Alone, that would get you to the mid-teens. Packaged with our current first? You could probably get up to 10.
  15. If Washington takes anyone other than Chase Young, they’re really dumb.
  16. Bonus points to whoever could have named the Bengals’ Head Coach before tonight....
  17. I don't think that the delta between Jefferson and the next best 5-6 WRs is worth the cost of trading up 7-8 spots in the first round even if Jefferson is there. I agree with this completely.
  18. Jefferson is consistently sliding into the 20s in most mocks. That's do-able for the Packers, but I agree that a move into the teens is impossible without mortgaging the 2021 draft.
  19. I'd jump Baltimore if it only cost our 4th. Value charts suggest they might need to do a 4th and 5th, which I wouldn't do. I'm fine staying at 30 if one of the LBs are there, otherwise I really hope they don't make a pick today. A trade back like they did in '17 works just fine for me, though I'd support a more modest trade back to get a 2nd or 3rd.
  20. Aiyuk is high on a lot of boards, including Kiper's. I don't think he'd be a reach at 30, but again, I'd hope they'd explore a minor trade back first even if he's their guy.
  21. I'm over it just fine, thanks. But the question was who will have their number retired next. My response is that every single player who has their number retired by the Brewers is in the Hall of Fame. Braun has a 0.00% chance of making the Hall of Fame, and the above is why. Hence, I think it'd be shocking if his number gets retired. I could see them doing an unofficial 'retiring' like they did for Gantner, though.
  22. Just read that Booger is one of the lead analysts for the ESPN/NFL Network simulcast... ugh. Guess I'll be watching the separate ABC coverage on Thursday/Friday instead.
  23. I’d be ecstatic . I love claypool in the 2nd but it doesn’t seem like he will be around. If they get Kmet in the 2nd and Cepheus in the 4th even better. I'd be thrilled as well. I'm increasingly at the point where I want a trade down to grab an extra 3rd. I don't think taking the 5-6 WR off the board, when the talent/value of 5-10 at WR is fairly deep, is the best value at 30. If Queen and Murray are gone as they probably will be, and if you're not a fan of Jones or Cleveland, trade back and go WR/OT/TE with your 2nds and own 3rd, and use the 2nd third to gram Fromm, Hurts. etc. if you're legitimately interested in drafting a QB.
  24. Yep. I'd bet the people at the Brookfield rally waving the confederate flag were far more interested in their ability to go to Buffalo Wild Wings than anything to do with a small business. The issue I have is that people continue to blame the stay at home order for 'missed appointments' and the cancellation of elective procedures, when it's hospital policy that's to blame. Go urge the hospital to revise their procedures. Many of them are probably considering a loosening as it has already been noted here previously.
