    You trot out Blake Perkins and Joey Ortiz against this pitching staff, you kind of get what you asked for.

    It’s embarrassing. I was never going to be upset about losing this series, but this team has flat out humiliated themselves.

    I mean if you had asked me if I’d rather have lost Game 5 to the Cubs I’d have said no, of course. However, this is not exactly a desirable alternative….

    I had very little expectations for the Brewers to win this series and they somehow made it into a very disappointing series.

    I just can’t understand why any Brewer fan would root for this.

    Ohtani hit one about 8000 feet. Meanwhile Yeli can’t get one out of the infield.

    They’re not rebuilding. They’ll win 90 some games next year like they always do. It’s not like they’re an aging veteran team build on the backs of a couple old guys with expiring contracts.

    Absolute trash job by this offense. Proud of Chourio and what he’s brought despite the hammy. Everyone else can hit the damn batting cages all offseason.

    Bauers is a nice little pinch hitter, but let’s be honest about the overall quality player he actually is despite the hot last month.

    Yelich hitting a lame ground ball and trotting to 1st at 75% speed is sadly a solid result when it advances the runner.

    Bummed about how this NLCS has went, but sure excited about the future of Miz and Chad Patrick contributing to this pitching staff.

    I know this series hasn’t been fun, but you can’t get to the World Series by winning 62 games. Bring on the expectations. It makes the lows hard, but do we really want the Brewers of the late 90s and early 2000s back?

    Just trying to make his manager look good for the opener strategy.

    He’s an ok guy to take the ball every 5th day in the regular season as your 5th guy. He really isn’t a guy you want to trust to get outs in the NLCS in an elimination game.

    This is about the kind of result I would have expected tonight when you start a pitcher like Jose Quintana against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Not that they really had a choice. But maybe we can forget about the idea that opening games with Ashby in any way negatively affected this series.

    Ortiz struck out on 6 pitches. That’s an impressive AB for him.
