Garza has to be the worst pitcher in baseball at throwing to bases. Absolutely flabbergasting that a guy who has to hit tight spots in a strike zone cannot successfully throw the ball at a 6 feet target. If I'm the opposing team I bunt to Garza every time and watch him screw it up.

They'll ask you for a reason, just tell them you mainly subscribe for Sunday Ticket and just can't afford Sunday ticket this year. They'll get you over to a "retention specialist" who will already have the idea in his/her head that they can dangle Sunday ticket out there and keep you. After 11 years of paying for it, I'd be stunned if they don't just come out and offer it to you right there for free. If you're big on using the Redzone channel and watching online, make sure they give you Sunday Ticket Max. The regular Sunday ticket doesn't include those without Max. I made that mistake when I got it last year and had to call back and push a little harder than I normally have to to get them to cave but they did eventually go ahead and give me Sunday ticket max for free.

I still wish Wang had sold it a little better when he got hit with the line drive last week. Best chance we've had to get him on the DL and of course he comes out of the incident smelling like roses.

Not sure if you pay for Sunday ticket, but every year I just call and tell them I'm cancelling service and when they ask me what they can do to keep me, I tell them to give me Sunday ticket for free. I've never had them say no, at least not after talking to the right people.

Falu quickly pretty much eliminates any chance of him ever starting for us at SS again this season.

Honestly, forget the footwork, forget the "mental" aspect, how in the world can a major league starting pitcher not successfully throw a routine ball to a player standing on a base without skipping it in the grass/dirt EVERY TIME? How??

The union would throw a fit and scream "collusion" and probably win in court. How would it be collusion if it's just a franchise policy? Doesn't collusion have to involve two or more parties in a mutual "agreement"? The CBA allows for 6 years of club control, I don't know how the union could force a franchise to offer long-term contracts to some of its players. I'm not that well-versed in the CBA language though so I could very well be wrong. -
At some point are we going to realize that Niese is dealing strikes tonight and protect the plate a little bit better with 2 strikes??

I would agree that if we hadn't had '08 and '11, the interest level would be a little bit higher. So there's a little bit of familiarity with the situation already. That said, I think most of it is the fact that there is 60% of the season left. So far so good, but when you're pretty drastically exceeding most expectations, some tend to still be cautiously optimistic.

Fox Trax had almost all of the pitches barely outside, but outside. He consistently didn't call just off the corner but called the one that barely was on the corner. I have no problem with it and no excuses for Estrada. He did it to himself.

Yes. Well, close. White Sox will probably eat a lot of it anyway. As he does compared almost every player in baseball. Reynolds hits a lot of HR's. Dunn's career OBP compared to Reynolds suggest more than just a few walks. I hope "base clogger" does not imply that Dunn's ability to get on base is a bad thing. Even if he is a worse base runner, which there isn't a major difference, ability to get on base is always a good thing.

I love Lucroy but he needs to bust it out of the box on that. If the fan doesn't touch it they have a play on 2nd on him for sure. He gave up on it.
