The new paradigm is to design for both desktop and mobile devices. No more detecting what device you are using and redirecting to a different page. That more than doubles the amount of developer time it takes to create the page. That design trend is the best design that works for small touch screens and large mouse driven screens.
I was at week long Boy Scout camp and heard about it later. I didn't understand why everyone cared so much about a sideline reporter. It wasn't until later that I found out he actually played in the NFL.
This reminds me of Braves fans. Win ~16 straight division titles but the fan base is upset they couldn't pull in multiple WS titles. Meanwhile Milwaukee and Pittsburgh were failing to win more games than they lost. I want a WS real bad, but need to remember to enjoy having a good team. NY is magnitude larger than Milwaukee, but the Mets are only pulling in 20k a night because they are so bad. PS. The media obsession with a football team 2 hours away over the local baseball team is why I hate that football team.
I'll be there but hope I don't have to play. I've been walking with a limp for two days. I don't want to run on it yet. It still twinges and is a great purple color.
I would hate to start that early. It is hard to leave work at 5, come home to change, eat at home or pick up fast food, fight traffic, and get to a 7pm game. Find a way to make games take less than 3.5 hours.
List me as day to day and I might need a DL stint. My ankle hurt real bad this morning. Walking from the bed to the alarm clock caused me to break out in sweat and get nauseous. Wife took me to the ER. Not broken, but I'm in a boot and crutches for now. If it's not better by Monday I'll have to see a specialist because it might be tendon damage.
Not only that but they tried to get Springer on this kind of contract and when he declined they called him up. So there may have been rumors, but it doesn't seem like there was any basis for them. I wonder if the conversation was something like "We wouldn't offer this if we didn't think you were good enough for the bigs. If you sign this deal and we have to start paying you over $1M a year, we'll pretty much be forced to call you up immediately." So not that they'd keep him down if he didn't sign, but they'd call him up quicker if he signed.
Another factor in leaving Garza in was that he was due to hit next. To bring in the Fresh Prince we had to either double switch Maldonado out of the game or only have our best reliever face only one hitter. I had just got in the car in the bottom of the 10th. As soon as I heard KRod was due up 4th I thought for sure Reynolds would get walked.
Gomez: I think he has always been like this, but it isn't something to promote before he becomes a star. (And camera friendly fans never went after him before he was a star) The Happy Video: They usually do a video in this vein. This is just the best one they've done. WWCW: This is because of the how many pitchers in the bullpen have Twitter. Bullpens are usually like this (something about having nothing to do for large parts of the game and being 400 feet away from Coach). Twitter and YouTube allow the players to broadcast their antics. All it takes is a short right up and a link for the PR staff to "feature" these on the website. BallparkPup: This is another thing the players gravitated for that just happened to be PR ready. I imagine the PR staff is usually suppressing the player antics at spring training.
