This is turning into a disaster. Welcome to Brewers postseason.
  2. wibadgers23
The Brewers have probably already filed the game tape away for next year’s arbitration hearing with Burnes.
  3. wibadgers23
Why Wiemer over Mitchell? None of the Dbacks starters that we’re facing are lefties. What am I missing?
  4. wibadgers23
Yeah there’s a fairly good chance we end up playing the Diamondbacks next week. Not sure who holds the tiebreaker though.
  5. wibadgers23
I get it but I don’t want to risk giving the Cubs life, letting them clinch a playoff spot and then bringing a boatload of Cubs fans here next week.
  6. wibadgers23
Why not pitch Williams tonight and put the Cubs out of their misery?
  7. wibadgers23
Safe to say Andrews probably isn’t a big league pitcher. Cubs could score a bunch here.
  8. wibadgers23
So the Cubs are in some trouble. If Miami holds on to win tonight, they’re essentially up two games with three to go.
  9. wibadgers23
I’m going to lose the rest of my hair watching this offense in the playoffs.
  10. wibadgers23
The offense has absolutely nothing tonight. Maybe tomorrow.
  11. wibadgers23
The Braves might just come back and win this game tonight and we can all go to sleep happy.
  12. wibadgers23
Piss poor offense. Piss poor defense. Piss poor pitching. Not a recipe for success.
  13. wibadgers23
Those AB’s from Canha and Frelick in the 3rd were AWFUL and now we’re losing. I sure hope the offense isn’t going in the crapper again.
  14. wibadgers23
Omg yes please. I would even just take Black and Mitchell.
  15. wibadgers23
Josh Hader refuses to pitch multiple innings for the Padres too.
  16. wibadgers23
I’m a big Mitchell fan but didn’t realize his strikeout numbers were so huge. I still really like what he brings though which is a little bit of everything - speed, power, exceptional defense, etc.

Now that the AAA season is over, how about we DFA Anderson and call up Black. Give him a few starts to give some guys a rest (once we clinch) and let him get his feet wet. Black started out slow in AAA but had a terrific September.
  18. wibadgers23
Tyler Black had an unbelievable September and a pretty fantastic season overall. Congratulations on a fantastic minor league season. Thanks to everyone for their hard work on this forum. Already can’t wait until March!

Anyone know why Chourio left the game early?
  20. wibadgers23
Man is he having some kind of month or what.
  21. wibadgers23
The Brewers will probably be celebrating a division title in Miami this weekend.
  22. wibadgers23
Black with a stand up double on this hit. Dude is FAST. https://x.com/nashvillesounds/status/1704668066045661479?s=46&t=P3bnBoAVrXtJCC_0wxYXhg

How do you embed tweets for cripes sake? I haven’t been able to since Twitter changed to X.
  24. wibadgers23
Chourio with an RBI double in his first AB of the night.
  25. wibadgers23
Fun thread. I’m thinking a little earlier and will say at home against the Cardinals on May 9, which is the start of a 7 game homestand. I agree it’s unlikely he’ll make the OD roster.
