There were a few guys replaced in the lineup last night, which appears to be common in the ACL, BUT I can understand your concern given all of the injuries this year. It’s really been demoralizing.
Through all of his early season "struggles," Chourio is 3rd in the Southern League in RBI's, tied for 7th in homeruns, tied for 6th in doubles, 3rd in hits, and tied for 5th in SB. He's just barely 19 years old.
I said the other day that I was still waiting for that big breakout game from Chourio…looks like today is that day. Two doubles, a homerun and 4 RBI’s and we’re only in the 5th inning.
I’m guessing the tacky ball is suppressing offense? And isn’t the Southern League also known for being tough offensively, even before this experiment? Might explain the low batting averages throughout the Shuckers lineup.
