  1. Chourio hasn’t done a whole lot since his big game a week ago. Tyler Black on the other hand is on fire!
  2. He has to be already close to breaking some SB records. This is ridiculous.
  3. Guilarte too! I know he was placed on the IL but there’s been absolutely no word on what he’s dealing with, timeframe for return, etc.
  4. It’ll be even worse after this series.
  5. Lara is quickly becoming one of my favorite prospects. Four more hits tonight including a couple doubles.
  6. Didn’t take long for Tyler Black to wreak some havoc. Double, stole 3B and then scored on an error in the 1st.
  7. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the day Lara returns, Carolina’s offense erupts.
  8. Di Turi having quite the day so far, as is 16-year-old Roderick Flores. A combined 5 hits and 6 RBI's between the two of them in the 5th.
  9. There were a few guys replaced in the lineup last night, which appears to be common in the ACL, BUT I can understand your concern given all of the injuries this year. It’s really been demoralizing.
  10. I’m going to guess he takes some sort of advisory role in the front office that allows him more flexibility to see his family.
  11. Frelick back in the leadoff spot for Nashville.
  12. Carolina is really struggling without Lara and Guilarte in the lineup. They desperately need those guys back.
  13. Through all of his early season "struggles," Chourio is 3rd in the Southern League in RBI's, tied for 7th in homeruns, tied for 6th in doubles, 3rd in hits, and tied for 5th in SB. He's just barely 19 years old.
  14. If Valerio keeps up this pace over the new few weeks or so, I'd like to see him bumped up to AAA. Feels like he's been in AA forever.
  15. I said the other day that I was still waiting for that big breakout game from Chourio…looks like today is that day. Two doubles, a homerun and 4 RBI’s and we’re only in the 5th inning.
  16. Yeah I also noticed he left yesterday's game early. Enough with the injuries, please!
  17. Bid day for Yophery Rodriguez, the Brewers top international signing this year - 3 hits including 2 homeruns.
  18. I think you’re right on Severino and you can add Juan Baez to the mix too.
  19. Lara and Guilarte being out of the lineup certainly doesn't help. Hopefully they are back soon. Those are two big bats.
  20. Nice to see Chourio with 3 hits and a couple RBI’s. Black with two hits and two more SB, now a ridiculous 33 on the year. Biloxi needed that today.
  21. Lara, Guilarte, Brown Jr - All of these injuries are starting to sap my energy. Thank goodness Frelick is back.
  22. I’m guessing the tacky ball is suppressing offense? And isn’t the Southern League also known for being tough offensively, even before this experiment? Might explain the low batting averages throughout the Shuckers lineup.
