    Apparently Manny has agreed to waive his options the next 2 years and has agreed to decline arbritration this winter so he will be a FA .

    Congratulations Jason your OPS in July is now under .500!!!! Good thing Rivera never gets to start ever because Kendall isn't wearing down or anything. Kendall is a gamer, he will go out and suck with the best of them.

    I still don't get the reasoning behind trading Ramirez unless he really did just give up on the team. I also don't get why he was so disgruntled. So all that the Sox got was Jason Bay? I would think they could get more for a future HOFwho still playing very well

    I personally have an obsession with the hammer throw event. Something about the violence and power behind the throw. That and a dream of Yost getting drilled in the face by an errant throw. (I am no advocating violence against Yost, you know what I mean right?, a sick fantasy I suppose)

    On the flip side, sure Weeks is playing better now, so why not try to see what you can get for him in a trade now? Because he will mosst certainly start to dissappoint us again. Trade him while he's hot!!!! Or at least not has bad as he usually is

    How can Kendall be underacheiving? I certainly wasn't expecting a whole lot of offense out of him. If we could turn Weeks, Hall, and a prospect into a solid 3rd baseman I would be pretty happy. I have no idea who that might be. Perhaps Ian Stewart? COL has garbage at 2nd and I would probably take Hall over Tavarez in CF. How about Weeks and Hall + a Top 15-20 Brewers prospect for Ryan Zimmerman, he is having a down year but who can blame him considering the lineup they have?

    I am afraid to even go over their and look to see what they have to say about this series. I know we have sucked, they know we have sucked, and now I am sure they feel like they have the division wrapped up. Its amazing how fast things can change, just a week ago the Brewers were flying high while the Cubs had just let us back into the race. Yeah we pretty much sucked, we have been pwned. Perhaps are game thread should also be titled LOSERS today?

    The Sox are not going to have a very good defensive OF, its not like they are good now. Their OF is already crowded, will they play Griffey at 1st or Thome at 1st with Griffey a DH? So what are the Reds going to get for him?

    I know we aren't this bad but darn it seems like the Brewers really wilt under pressure. There wasn't a whole lot of pressure on the road trip because they weren't playing at home and no one expects them to win that much on the road. Now they got home right in the thick of the division race and have looked absolutely awful, they are lucky the won the one Astros game. Seriously these aren't young guys anymore, they have all had a couple years of experience, their inconsistency has no excuse anymore. I can't believe that they aren't trying to make adjustments but it has to be someones fault that their aren't doing it. I still feel good about the wild card but for goodness sakes this series has been absolutely horrendous, we have to give it to the Cubs though to, there guys have stepped up and acted liked they've done this before, were acting like we haven't. Oh and we get to face Harden today, fantastic.

    I didn't Watch Last night. If we win today we will still be closer to them than we were at the all star break

    I think he could win won eventually, but there is just no way this yea. I know voters seem to like offensive production when determining defensive awards so at least he has that going for him. I don't think any BRewer has a chance at a GG this year. The only two remotely close would be Kendall and Hardy. I think Molina will win the catchers gold glove, not sure who will win SS.

    Thanks for laying an egg in the biggest series of the year so far. I really appreciate it. And also thanks for a 1-4 homestand so far, that really awesome as well.

    I didn't realize Nelson is having this good of a year. He's raised his OBP by 85 points and now over .400% I wish there was a spot for him on the MLB roster just so we could see what he could do. I likely September call up?
