  1. Considering if you type it in wrong it will give you an error message, you'd think it's working?
  2. Everything's comin' up Milhouse!
  3. I would be shocked if Bush goes to the bullpen after the break. He's been downright dominant of late.
  4. Sheethead, you were saying.. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  5. Shill. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif He certainly doesn't hide his feelings. I guess as long as they really only give him garbage time I have no problem with that, someone's gotta pitch those innings anyway, but that doesn't explain why he was in a run game yesterday.
  6. Per TH, latest update is that Hart and Wright are "locked in a tight battle."
  7. How awesome is it that they're actually considering this? "The Brewers are giving some thought to a fifth starter platoon, in which McClung would make road starts and Bush would pitch at Miller Park. Entering Thursday, Bush is 3-2 with a 2.87 ERA in eight starts at home and 1-6 with a 6.95 ERA in nine games, including eight starts, on the road. McClung, who started the season in the bullpen, is 1-1 with a 3.28 ERA in 11 appearances on the road and 4-3 with a 5.08 ERA in nine games at home." Link First hitting the pitcher 8th, now a pitching platoon. It's the year for thinking outside the box!
  8. C'mon Al (et al). Clearly no one is realistically expecting to alter their plans based on what the parents say. Is it that absurd to think that the parents might have an interest in their daughter's well-being? The "benefit" is that you're showing them respect by acknowledging that. No, in this day and age they probably have no real say in what she does, but that doesn't mean they don't appreciate it. And if they don't care, then you probably wouldn't be doing it in the first place. No need to pooh-pooh it if you don't agree.
  9. Welcome aboard agarr. Please review the rules of conduct, as calling people insane (even if you don't really mean it) is not how we like to do discussion around here. But yes, that offer does seem just a touch high to me, given there's no guarantee Harden's arm won't fall off tomorrow. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. Greg, you may be right, but one, I didn't even single anyone out, and two, I'm not sure how else to read "Great news, its been a great couple days as a Brewer fan" or "What a great week to be a brewer."
  11. If we ever needed Branyan to get hot again, now is the time.
  12. Prince!!! Hold yer horses ladies and gents!
  13. What really sucks is if Braun had hit a weak grounder or a flyball, we'd be tied right now..
  14. Wow, Mike Gallego and Glenallen Hill coaching the bases. I feel so old hearing guys that I knew when I was a kid are now coaches.
  15. I hate baserunners anyway. They just clog things up.
  16. I'm not sure how the bench doesn't spontaneously combust when JJ sits on it.
  17. So if it's really Brantley or Green, as seems to be the case now, I wonder if it's up to the Indians to pick the one they want, or if it is related to how well the Brewers do this year? I'm a little surprised they gave up Brantley, but on the other hand if it's tied to the playoffs in some way, that'll probably mean it was worth it.
  18. Just a note that all Suppan DL conversation should move to here: http://forum.brewerfan.net/viewtopic.php?t=13951
  19. CC (apparently he doesn't use periods?) will be talking with Jim on the pregame show at 6:30.
  20. This whole cheering for injuries thing needs to stop. Am I glad Suppan is the odd man out? Yes. Am I backing that up with comments of "what a great week for Brewers fans"? Heck no. If it's "elbow irritation, wink wink", that's fine. If it's a real issue, I hope he's better after 2 weeks off. A break at this point certainly won't hurt, and we don't need him right now.
  21. Interesting. I am totally behind that move. He's certainly been pitching the worst of any of them lately.
  22. I think this weekend JP was noting that the Brewers are actually under .500 vs RHP, and doing quite well vs LHP, but the exact numbers escape me.
