Fischer has now taken over the team OPS lead from Josh. That escalated quickly. Pratt 2 more hits, Lara yet another 3 hit game. At the same time, every time I ask myself why he hasn't been called up yet, I look down the box score and see Matos hitting .353/.921. -
That may have been true a couple weeks ago, not so much with Yelich, Vaughn, and Chourio back. And I think you need to look at some of the other lineups around the league. No one's running out 8-9 hitters batting a reasonable average. Yesterday, for example, yes Rengifo, Perkins, and Ortiz have putrid season numbers. Everyone else is .700+ OPS or better. The Cardinals have 5 players below .700 (although one is just barely). Surely the vaunted Dodgers lineup must be way better? Nope, they have 3 players below .700 (although to be fair, they're closer to .700 than the Brewers 3).

Every time I think I couldn't love this trade more, Harrison pitches again and I love it more. At this point we should just pencil Arnold's name in as the exec of the year until he proves he doesn't deserve it.

Yeah this trope of his is getting old. Roberts called him on it during the NLCS last year too. I guarantee you most MLB players know the names of most other MLB players, especially the teams in your division.

I would assume it'll either be Bauers and Mitchell or Bauers and Vaughn, depending on how much Murph cares about getting that LH batter that first AB.

If that's what they're using as the list of 10 I don't get how you "need access to 10 platforms". You can't say NBC, CBS, and ABC are 3 separate platforms. They're OTA channels that anyone can get, or if they use a TV streaming service they will have access to all of those. The vast majority of games will be available OTA as usual. That's 1. Then Thursday games are Prime, that's 2. Then some sporadic games will require other platforms which a particular fanbase may or may not care about. There's no "10 platforms" that every football fan is going to need.

My dream scenario is Hamilton having some key postseason moment like Dave Roberts in 2004. He could be a weapon.

Rengifo is quietly on fire the last week.

Numerous people are commenting on his flailing at pitches out of the zone and the fact that he looks so bad TODAY. No one is saying he sucks as a baseball player now and forever.

I enjoyed Durbin while he was here, and I'm very much enjoying him getting us Harrison.

Because he was on fire for the first two games he was back and hasn't been that great since then. Overall average is not relevant to a point about how bad he's been today.

In this case it's because he's catching and that's our option for giving Contreras a day off the field, but yeah, it's been fire then ice. Arguably you could have Bauers at 1B instead of Vaughn, but I'm not going to get too mad about that one.
