  1. If Hart bounces back and has a good year, it benefits him and the Brewers. I'd like to see him return to being our everyday rightfielder and better the lineup!
  2. I laugh at the fact that the Cubs leadoff hitter is The Riot. That makes my day. Let's put some space between us and the Scrubbies!!
  3. I have a feeling that Lo Cain would be called up to Nashville, which isn't a bad thing, but I would love to see Katin given a chance at the MLB level sometime this year.
  4. Agreed. I would much rather have Weeks leadoff, followed by Esco, then Braun, Prince McGehee, Hart, Zaun, then Gomez.
  5. I am glad that the Brewers won the last game that I will get to see for a while. Trevor definitely made me nervous when he came in. I am wondering how drunk LaRussa was to pinch hit for his catcher, take out his replacement catcher and put a guy in who's never caught in the majors and barely caught in the minors. Who's next behind the plate, Skip Schumaker? That was funny. But not as funny as the ESPN commentators. From Orel talking Joe Morgan being a great hitter (he was, but Orel made him sound like he never missed a ball), from Joe talking about his new toys and his professed love for Albert. And then there's Jon Miller.....while he's got a good sounding announcing voice, he's dumber than dirt.
  6. Eh....the joy of watching ESPN. Hershiser props up the Cards, while Joe Morgan raves about Braun and the swagger. Gotta win tonight!
  7. Maybe Macha watched Hot Tub Time Machine and thinks it's 1999 and Edmonds is a GG center fielder!
  8. His uncle is Rick Dempsey? I never knew that!!! Oh wait, I heard Rock mention it about 800 times each telecast so far this season.
  9. That game was like a punch in the gut. To have the team fight hard throughout the game, and when you get to the all-time saves leader, a guy you think should have it locked down, he gives up a HR to the last guy on the bench, that hurts. Especially with Poo being 0-3 in the game. That's a victory right there. Gotta wonder why Zaun went inside for Holliday and the other guy. But, hey, a series win is still not out of the question!
  10. Here in San Antonio, there are loose dogs all over the place. Not quite sure why that is. Most of the people that I see out walking are carrying a very large stick or a metal pipe or something. Just haul off and whack the dog!
  11. Hey, at least Matt didn't throw the tongs under the bus! Soup is blaming everything else but himself. Come on!!!
  12. Last night for me to take advantage of the free EI package on Directv, as the wifey and I have a date for tomorrow night. So, I will be watching and cheering quietly as my almost 1 year old is nice and sleeping!
  13. Is it wrong of me to expect a classy sweep by the Brewers?
  14. I love this!!!!!! The only thing that would have been better would be a press conference announcing that Jeff Suppan has decided to retire. And that he would be giving up his salary for this year and next. But one can dream, right?
  15. Great win! Didn't look good after the 1st, but gotta love the comeback! Looks like a major strength is the bullpen! For the crummy decisions Macha made on Monday, he made up for it today. Fun to watch!!
  16. This is not going well....however, the bright side is that Manny is warming up.
  17. Butler really has kept up with Duke! It's been a great game to watch! Can't wait to see who wins!
  18. For clarification, it's actually Sa;lkm;lkjlkjlkjmmmmlkjhljxbvlkmsbxxzazlkjdbsaxzia
  19. That would have worked 2 days ago.....seriously?? This is true? Wow. What does Rivera have to do? And why is Chad Moeller so coveted? Government conspiracy?
  20. That was what I thought the first time I stepped into Miller Park. I was 22 when I had that feeling. I hope your nephew never loses that feeling!
  21. If you're on the top deck, it goes a bit smoother, but the lower deck is crazy with the on-ramps and off-ramps. I-37 in downtown San Antonio does the same thing, but it's not as bad. The biggest problem is that Austin didn't really plan roads well as it grew.
  22. Fantastic game!! Glad Butler won! Now looking forward to a Brewer victory Monday afternoon and a Butler victory Monday night.
