I'm very hopeful that we don't get the predicted up to half an inch of snow in San Antonio. It has come down from the half inch to inch predicted earlier today. But it's still going to be cooooold! I'm ready for 85 and sunshine.

I live in San Antonio, and it is predicted to SNOW tomorrow...yes, I typed that correctly. I seriously thought that almost 2 years ago, on the day I left Wisconsin in a 12 inch snowfall, that would be the last time I'd ever see snow. Especially living in South Texas. It's been cold this week, which isn't that bad, but snow? Come on.

Musically?I'd personally rather augment the chord than cut it.....maybe diminish it, but never cut it.

Congrats! Mine is a little over 7 months old and there's a lot to a girl. I've already learned lots in having 3 females in the house (wife, daughter, cat). At least the dog is male....

Yay!!! I'm quite happy that Looper is gone. I echo the previous sentiments of as long as the money is spent better (big time offer to Prince, NOT signing Davis or Washburn), then it will be a positive for the Brewers. -

I'm glad to see others suggest Suppan. I was going to, but figured I might get laughed at. $35 million for 4 years of a past Cy Young award winning pitcher? You're probably not going to get Lackey for that, and you'd have to give up a lot more to get someone of a similar caliber. And then to add Peterson to it to help him regain his stuff? That's a risk I'm all for taking.

Now that I'm thinking a bit more about it, Braun and Gomez have pretty good speed in the outfield, so why not move Gamel to RF? I'm sure being a 3B, he's got a pretty strong arm. That way we keep his bat, and McGeehee's in the lineup. Of course, trade Hart for what you can get in pitching.

I had suggested in one of the rumors threads to trade Hart for pitching and sign Austin Kearns to play RF. Cain wouldn't be a bad option either if you allow Hart to stay in RF this year, rebuild his value and look to move him next season.

What I wouldn't mind seeing is trade Hart for pitching, sign Austin Kearns for RF. Decline Looper's option, sign Jon Garland and Mulder to incentive laden deals, and try to bring back Sheets. Sign either Miguel Olivo or or Yorvit Torrelba to platoon with Lucroy. That would be a positive offseason in my mind.....along with trading Soup for whatever you could get for him. -

I only read through page 6, and then jumped to the last page, so forgive me if this was already brought up, but what about Lo Cain as our CF of the future? Would he possibly be a chip in another trade? -
