  1. Who's overvaluing him? He's a 4th outfielder/platoon guy who plays good defense. Is anyone saying he's a star or a starter or anything?
  2. I was hoping he would go for Austin. Then his next son could be Dallas and then if he has another one it could be El Paso.
  3. The schedule from late November through early January is one of the most brutal stretches I can remember. @ Utah @ Denver Orlando Miami Indiana Houston @ Dallas @ San Antonio Utah @ Portland @ LA Lakers @ Sacramento Atlanta @ Chicago Dallas @ Miami @ Orlando Miami
  4. Do we have anyone who gets to play half their games in High Desert anymore?
  5. In 400ish major league at bats he has a .274/.367/.421/.788 line while playing very good defense at all three outfield spots. He's hardly a AAAA player.
  6. Pretty much everyone on that team regressed from last year for some reason. Gutierrez, Lopez, Figgins (who I know was with the Angels the year before), even Ichiro. Their offense was going to bad even with those guys having the same years as they had last year but they could've made up for some of it with pitching and defense but the defense regressed as well. That Kotchman trade was incredibly dumb though.
  7. Anybody else laugh at Melvin calling Dickerson a contact hitter?
  8. Don't really care about wins and losses anymore. Would just like to see the young guys perform well.
  9. They have to pass seven teams including three that are at least 9 games ahead of them. That's why it's out of the question. Maybe if they get to 5 back with two or three teams ahead of them heading into September you could bring it up, but it still would be incredibly unlikely.
  10. I don't really see the point of using Axford here. If he really felt the need to use three relievers, which is incredibly stupid then why not use Cappy? He hasn't pitched since the 4th where he only threw 5 pitches and before that he hadn't pitched since the 31st.
  11. Brandon Morrow just had his no hitter broken up after 8.2 innings. Still a filthy game for him, only 2 walks and 16 strikeouts.
  12. I don't have a map, but this is my opinion that you would be better off spending money to sit in section 217 or something. You would still be behind home plate but you would get a better view of the action. Sitting behind home plate is overrated, especially at Miller Park where the angles cut off your views on a lot of plays on the field level.

  14. Glad to see that Macha is using Braddock as a LOOGY.
  15. They traded for Jorge Cantu who barely has an OPS over .700 to replace Davis. That should tell you what they think about him. He has about a zillion holes in his swing.
  16. I believe those are the socks. If you look at the other guy his arms are much darker than his legs, so it's just the color of the socks.
  17. It's not even the picture quality. It's also the audio cutting out for about 10 minutes. Just awful.
