  1. Or you could just call SgtClueLs an idiot for thinking that was Gamel. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  2. For some reason $20-25 is sticking in my mind.
  3. Gamel's not in any of those pictures. At least none that I can see.
  4. Ryan Miller is a tremendous goaltender. That is all I have to say. He's been amazing for the Sabres this year and he was amazing in this game.
  5. Maybe he plans on shooting any birds that fly over the stadium to prevent any chance of a ball hitting one like in Major League 2.
  6. I agree with you on the numbers TLB. I don't think it's a minor quibble, they look horrible.
  7. Today has been great for me. I'm currently watching the Admirals game which started at 4. By the time that game is done, the US/Canada game should just be starting. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  8. He's an avid outdoorsman who needs a gun indoors at his place of work?
  9. How warm? I need to know!
  10. For Philly, yeah. I was speaking more from the Bucks POV. Meeks was a shooter and not much else and he sucked at shooting, so cut your losses before he has no value, get a high 2nd back and see what you can do with it.
  11. I think they think Meeks just sucks. He was billed as a shooter coming out of Kentucky and not much else. So when he couldn't shoot, they figured cut your losses quick and see if you can do better with the 2nd round pick this year.
  12. Gamel didn't even show up late last year.
  13. Game tomorrow is tape delayed on channel 36 in Milwaukee at 10 PM.
  14. So being tied for 15th in the Midwest League in OPS as a 19 year old isn't good enough? And Ryan Braun hit .274/.344/.438/.782 line in Brevard County as a 22 year old. Glad to see you don't have too high of expectations for a 20 year old! As far as my list. 1. Angel Salome - Had a down year riddled with injuries. It would be nice to see him have a bounce back year so we could have two really good catching prospects. 2. Lorenzo Cain - Another injury plagued year. Like Salome and Lucroy at catcher it would be nice to have two good CF prospects in Cain and Schafer. 3. Wily Peralta - Just a favorite of mine. 4. Mark Rogers - Would love to see him have a great year starting. Not only because it would be great to have another pitching prospect, but just to overcome the injuries. 5. Del Howell - Lefty with good stuff. Lefties stick together, so I'll be rooting for him. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  15. What would have been a great return for a bench player, a D Leaguer, an end of the bench guy, and a stiff? Guess I just wanted to see a full on plan. When you get Salmons, go close the deal for a PF. We helped Chicago get cap room for a max FA, we get a couple 2nds and the right to swap picks if the Bulls pick isn't top 10. The Rockets help the Knicks clear room for another max FA and they get recent lottery pick Jordan Hill, the right to swap 2011 1st round picks picks and a top 1 protected 2012 1st round pick just for taking Jared Jeffries. If you're going to trade for Salmons, that means you want the playoffs, so why stop there? Salmons isn't going to guarantee the playoffs. Use Ersan to get Murphy, use the 1st to get Landry. Don't just stop.
  16. Hammond isn't exactly a genius. The moves individually are fine, but together they're stupid. Salmons isn't enough to propel this team to the playoffs, especially with the schedule the rest of the year so the pick swap means nothing. So then we get three 2nds and Salmons for Warrick, Alexander, Meeks and Elson. Not exactly a great return.
  17. Am I the only one who hates the powder blue?
  18. Typical Bucks. Make a "win now" trade that doesn't make us a sure fire playoff team and then make a minor move or two and just stop there. We're probably sitting as the 9th seed right now and that is the worst place to be in the NBA.
  19. He actually had four chances for the game winner in all four games they've played and he failed on all four of them.
  20. Because he was going to get a minor league deal.
  21. Can't wait for men's hockey tomorrow. USA opens up against Switzerland at 2 PM Central on USA.
  22. And it's not just about not paying Fielder. It's what you get by not paying Fielder plus what you would get for him in a trade. I don't think locking up Prince is the best thing to do for the franchise and I would prefer he be traded either this summer if we're out of it or after this season.
  23. I assume you're talking about going behind the net to play the puck? If so, why?
  24. This has made them look stupid. Not only are they constantly changing their projections, but now their projections are something that has never been done in the history of baseball. Not once in the history of the league has every team won at least 70 games and only on two occasions by my count during a 162 game season has a team not won 95.
