The Bucks are going to be able to collect insurance on 80% of his contract once he misses 41 games and they'll continue collecting insurance until he comes back and plays 41 consecutive games.
Capuano's average fastball speed with the Brewers: 88.2, 86.4, 86.8, 86.9 Davis' average fastball speed with the Brewers: 85.0, 87.3, 87.3, 85.6. Only one year out of 7+ between the two lefties has averaged 88.
He's never played more than 129 games in a season either due to injury or poor performance. It's a pretty big leap to think he can make it through a season.
I've never given stuff for this before, but maybe clothes for the baby? I would probably just give money. I don't know if that's socially accepted, but my thinking is that way the parents can get whatever they want with that money. If you can, maybe volunteer to watch the baby for a night while they go out and they can just have a night between themselves.
I would imagine they're using the MLB rules for rookie status which is 130 at bats or 45 days on the active roster during the 25 player limit which would eliminate Gamel from being a rookie.
It really is. Did you see the thread where Sigra threatened a couple of posters and then posted a picture of himself posing with a gun? Just wait until you get BDUB in full attack mode. The spelling and grammar will amaze you since it's bad enough as it is when he's just posting normally.
Sweet. What's your name? The Bucks and their front office can preach culture change and playing hard, but talent wins in the NBA and the Bucks are bottom three in the NBA talent wise.
His OBP was up and his power was down. For two years now he's been about a .750-.760 OPS guy with mediocre defense. That's easily replacable and if we could actually fool a team into believing he's an all-star or a quality corner outfielder and get some value, we should do it.
Not really sure why. His walk rate was right in line with his career averages. His strikeout rate went from around 14% to 17%, but that's still a perfectly reasonable number and his LD% was over 22%. His BABIP was down to .314 from the previous two years at .332 and .346. Maybe age is catching up to him? Maybe just an off year?
