  1. I have had no issues with Direct TV stream the last 2 seasons. I also could watch all twins games if I wanted to. I’m happy and don’t see the need to switch.
  2. I vaguely remembered him pitching well against the brewers last season and looked it up. 6-27 5 IP, 3H, 1ER, 4K's.
  3. the issue is that if you were going to get a non-BSW streaming service and this app, you really aren't saving money over DTVS. The only way is if you get one of the 35 dollar sling packages and this app, which would save you 30 dollars a month, but you would not get everything (ie, you need to pick FS1 or ESPN). if you get the blue/orange package, its 15 dollars a month of savings. if you get YTYV or HL and this app, its 85 dollars which is the same as Direct TV stream with a bigger headache. if you just want to watch the brewers, this is great though.
  4. without cutting and pasting from the ESPN+ mock draft, some interesting nuggets: 1) bucks looking at upperclassman on Thursday to help them win a championship now. 2) bucks looking to move up get a big (Kessler, Mark Williams). they were mocked Liddel though. if 1 and 2 are correct, but are good news.
  5. That was a detail that was unknown until I saw this article. I guess its fine, but since they will be wearing these about 15 times (i think), a handful of bars will get a massive free plug. If I was in the tavern league of Wisconsin, and weren’t selected, I wouldn’t be happy. I assume the tavern of the game is just rotated and since its daily, more bars get the plug.
  6. Some comments from Paul Lukas at Uni-watch. https://uni-watch.com/2022/06/20/a-close-look-at-the-new-brewers-and-jazz-uniforms/ He is clearly not a fan. I think he is being a tad bit harsh on the jersey top itself. While I'm not a fan of the hat, being critical of the 414 when not everyone in Milwaukee has that area code is pretty harsh as well.
  7. I'm confused by that rule. In 2020 the bucks drafted RJ Hampton and traded him for the deal that got them holiday. last year's 1st went as part of that trade too, so bucks haven't made and kept a 1st round selection since DDV in 2018.
  8. First of all I think they will trade the pick, but if I’m wrong about that, I want Jovic. If he isn’t around I would like Wendell Moore as a shooter or Kessler as a big guy.
  9. its all crap from Fanatics. I agree. I hate that they are now producing all the lockerrooom championship stuff. Thats something you would like to keep.
  10. I stand corrected, i did read an article this morning to that affect. I hardly see this as a punishment then, minus the shame associated with it.
  11. I also love that the jerseys state "Brew Crew" and not "Brew City" .
  12. The collection is online. I do like this shirt. https://www.mlbshop.com/milwaukee-brewers/mens-milwaukee-brewers-nike-navy-2022-city-connect-legend-performance-t-shirt/t-14331005+p-9325073790553+z-9-2457504610?_ref=p-CLP:m-GRID:i-r7c1:po-22
  13. Never thought I'd see the day. Vinnie Mac is stepping down as CEO amid scandle, and Stephanie is taking over in the interim. I always hoped it would be triple H and he was allowed to run the main roster like he did NXT. This is probably a good thing for the product, but its sad to see someone go that has grown the business as much as he did. Obviously when your daughter takes over for you, he will still be involved I would imagine though. He will be on Smackdown tonight which will be must see TV.
  14. LAA and Houston are my 2 favorites. Maybe these are 3rd. Everything is subjective though.
  15. I agree. In general the CC's that were released this year seem to have made a better effort to connect to the city. The bloom festival in DC, the space program in Houston, the beaches in Anaheim, the mountains in Denver and that KC is the city of fountains. Last season, they seemed to just be alternative jerseys with little thought.
  16. I like the jerseys, especially the grill logo. The hat is a big meh. Anyway its not worth getting worked up either way for a jersey that the brewers will wear on home friday night games. Lets be honest, this is just a cash grab by Nike and the Brewers. But if the brewers would release a polo with the grill logo, i'd probably buy it.
  17. Don't get me wrong, I think Crosby is toast. I was hoping they would bring in a legit contender for Crosby. i would have preferred it to be a vet, but they went the undrafted FA route. Even if Mason makes the team, its hard to imagine him kicking for the Packers in 2023 since he is a UFA. Probably would make sense to look at the future and see if this kid can kick, assuming he has a decent camp.
  18. Brzic seems to be the most legit competition Crosby has faced. I read that he was the 2nd rated kicked in the 2022 draft class. Only 1 kicker was drafted in April. If Crosby earns the job, I won’t be upset, but I don’t think he should just be given the job. Also it would be nice if he could be carried on the practice squad or Molson so there is an option if he struggles.
  19. You are right about that. I don’t mind spending 25-30 bucks to sit up in the terrace. But when I’m at the game, i want to have 2 beers and a brat. Bring the wife and kids, and its a 300 dollar afternoon.
  20. I know this wasn't really the brewers idea, but if they are going to expect a tax subsidy whether in the form of a TIF district or a tax increase and then make it more expensive to go to games, its a non-starter.
  21. I don't tailgate anymore, just saying its part of the fiber of being a brewer fan. if the brewers eliminate that and replace it with high priced bars, its going to not go over well.
  22. why would you still pay bar prices for food / drinks, if you can just bring your cooler and grill in the lot?
  23. I don't see this working out well. Its great for the bucks. People normally stop at a bar and have a drink and dinner before a bucks game. People are NOT going to go buy an expensive drink at a bar in the parking lot in lieu of tailgating and drinking their own beer / grilling their own food. That being said, a common meeting spot to watch playoff games or road games would be cool, but not sure if it would be worth the tax increase the county would see. Also i would imagine this would mean removing parking spots, which for high attendance games, they seem to run out of spots as it is.
  24. i won't go that far. I think what they have now is their best uni-set in team history. That being said, I did like the green accent that they had. It was a clear look, but screamed 90's.
  25. That logo was during my teenage years, when the brewers were my summer. Those teams while not that good were fun to watch. I did like it when they brought the retros out. Is the logo very good, no. But when i see it, nostalgia gets to me.
