At least Jenkins did what he needed to do to keep it going.

The only thing missing was him turning away from the plate and whimpering after the pitch hit him. Otherwise, it was a Roger Dorn Moment.

Wearing my heart on my sleeve since birth. Hopefully, it's my only crime.

The Brewers probably are going to have to score this inning as if they don't, they'll probably either bring in Spurling, who is still probably pretty rusty or Balfour.

Which is too bad, because he managed a heck of a game tonight.

With Hardy batting 2nd, and Estrada 5th, "managing a heck of a game" was off the table before the game even started.

Does Yost realize how low Hardy's OBP is since the middle of May? It's .288. Estrada's is .280 since mid-May, even more pathetic. How do you keep batting guys like that batting #2 and #5?

I think this will be known as the "Johhny estrada" game.

We already have the "derrick turnbow" game. (Philly)

The "Aramis Ramirez" game.

The "Arlington Park Jinx" game. -Blew 3-0 lead in 9th with two outs.

The "JJ Hardy" game.-Should have had 4 errors against Cubs.

And the 10 "Ned Yost screws the Bullpen up" games.

If we won half of these, we would be up ten in the division.

Now seems like a good time to remind the Brewer faithful that, win or lose, this is only one game. Are you with me!!?? Hello??

I don't think that's going to work tonight, Johnny is going to have to get another AB and hit the go ahead homerun to gain any forgiveness at all.

This is THE most important game of the year. So no, sir, I am not with you.

Are we in Washington or Cinci? Just curious. Also, there appears to be some kind of forcefield erected in the outfield that is knocking all balls down.....conspiracy? Maybe

Maybe we are actually engaging in a war of pitching attrition! The Reds have 3 relievers left, or do they have 4?

I know it's been said during quite a few AB's, but wouldnt it be nice to see one of those "Big Mac Land"esque shots from Weeks?

That would snap him out of this slump.

They give us bases loaded with no outs due to a missed call on strike 3, and a dropped pop up. . They score only once on 8 hits (same as us) into the 11th inning. They serve up David Weathers for us. We fail to leg our way out of a double play. We first pitch swing into a pop up (Graffy) with a pitcher going DEEP into the game, to say the least.

The Reds don't deserve to win this one, but the Crew definitely deserves to lose it, regardless of the outcome.

Anywhere but Cincy and we are already dead meat. And we still might become that. A win tonight would be like winning a golf match with birdie on a playoff hole --- one that bounced off a tree and rolled in after pausing on the lip.

I know we're only 3 hrs into this one, but when I see that we're in the 12th inning I have only one thing on my mind.

Yeah Im not that down with Hardy batting 2 anymore and I never liked Estrada batting 5. Should be all sorted out when Hall comes back this week.
