Thank you to everyone that submitted a design for the Brewerfan t-shirt contest, and thank you as well to everyone for voting on their favorite designs. Congratulations to davebobn for his winning design, the "Because it snows in October" idea. Here is the final result of the design, as with the permission of davebobn, brewers19 and myself re-worked the design, with special props to brewers19 for his fine job on the Miller Park illustration:

We also will be unveiling several other shirt designs this spring, with the full line shown below. We will be working on adding all of these designs to the Brewerfan.net store in the next week or two. We'll be sure to let you know when they are available for purchase.

Uecker talks about it on the radio all the time

 

It's in reference to Bob's non-technological side, kind of like when he would joke about being all over "Davey's Diary" each spring, or "oogling" instead of "googling" this spring.

 

One day, Bob joked that he was pulling up information on his "Pocket Doppler" and didn't need a laptop. It's mushroomed into a semi-regular running gag since, especially as it relates to weather forecasts.

these look awesome. Now you get to wipe out my bank account when I have to order one of each (or more), including the sample size ones. Even though I don't have kids yet, those are too awesome not to have around when I DO have kids someday.

The process to get this stuff set up is apparently big-time tedious.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
