The last two outs seemed so deja vu to me. Why is it that the Brewers sometimes get two guys on to lead off an inning with NO one out, they squander it. Come on Brewers, stop doing this!

It seems to me that the Crew are experts at giving free outs to any pitcher. My God, what does Davis have to do to show he actually is fading? Throw fat hanging breaking balls to the hitters? Is the offense that dumb to realize that the first two hitters got on base, all they had to do was put the ball in play.

Tonight's outing is why you don't give up/trade a guy just because of a rough stretch. It's not like he suddenly got whacked with the crappy stick.

Get him a win!

Awesome start by Cappy, especially since those two runs scored on Mench slipping followed by two bloop singles. I'd really lost confidence in him, but he bounced back with this start.

Just checked in on the game for the first time via the interwebs and it looks like Capuano pitched a good game. The only thing I don't like, just by looking at the numbers, as I didn't actually watch him pitch, is that he only threw 58% strikes. Only 5 hits and 2 BB's, but that's still a lot of balls to throw.

But good to see him bounce back! Now the Brewers just need to get the bats going. The only good hitting game since the break has been the first one.

EDIT: Capuano going 7 innings was huge.

Time for the Brew Crew offense to give him the win NOW. No other way to give Cappy credit for his solid outing than for the offense to actually show some support for him this inning.

It's an absolute joy to see Cappy to have a good outing. Hopefully there are many more to come.

I agree it was a pleasure to see the Cappy we know can go out there and pitch that good. Too bad he has only gotten the HR by Mench. Maybe this is the start of Chris getting back to his good form.

What a way to go offense.... two K's to begin the inning. What happened to the offense that scores 6 or 7 runs in a game? And Goodbye Hardy... Cappy with the official No decision.
