Well he has a .392 BABIP which he won't keep up, drop that to .330 or so and he's only hitting .290 or so which is probably reasonable. His ISO is actually lower than it was in the minors this year and not that much off the pace of his 2006 minor league stats so the power could easily be for real.

I guess the Cubs traded a minor league lefty for Kendall which must mean they are paying all of Kendall's salary. (well the part that Oakland pays, I am pretty sure Pittsburgh still pays a hefty chunk of that salary) since they DFA'd Bowen today. I guess they are going to go with a Kendall and Koyie Hill combo until Blanco gets back.
