However, this is a good chance to see whether Mota can handle the 8th inning in a close game.

So we could have put Shouse in with a runner on 1st to get a lefty out, but now the bases are juiced and a base hit puts them ahead. What are you thinking Yost?

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people
