But Bush is supposed to bare down after a bad defensive play! Bad defense is just an excuse.

Fogg is out. Dusty being Dusty.

Actually, Bill, Dusty is being smart here. He knows that pinch hitting a mediocre pitcher in the 6th makes all the sense in the world.

was I hearing the a-word chants we hear at Badger games so often? I've never heard that at a Brewer game so loud. Especially not on TV

Sorry, everyone, this is all my fault. When I was following the game, we went down 2-0. During dinner, we took the lead, 3-2. Within a minute of going back to the computer, the Reds tied it up and, as we all know, they are still batting.

What a weird start for Bush. If you only look at the line, you see 4 earned in 5+ inning and say, "Bush sucks!" If you watched the game, you realize he pitched like junk but would have had a decent line if not for questionable defense and crappy relief help.

And this is a good example of why reliever ERA is basically worthless.

sorry, guys, I shouldn't have said anything about the speed of the game.

By the way, could St. Louis have an easier schedule so far? Man.

P.S: Yes, I know we played the Giants.
