Can't Selig implement his "Good for the game powers" to prevent more than one of these three starting in a game:

Graffy

Miller

Counsell.

Good news is that I can do some yard work when they are up..

My prediction for the bottom four spots 1 - 12 6K's

Brian Anderson isn't exactly making me feel better about this series with lines like "The Twins entered the series last in the AL in Home Runs, but have hit 3 this series."

Nice to see Gross out of the lineup again today. Seeing how he's 3rd on the team in OBP, I'm sure Ned doesn't want too many guys getting on and clogging up the bases.

For goodness sake, just put Hall in the infield for a couple games, call it an "emergency", and assure him he's still an everyday CF. Having Gross/Hall instead of Hall/Graffy sure would be nice. Graffanino is now trailing Dave Bush in OPS.

I've been drilled here a few times for suggesting it. I'm glad they seem to be thinking about it in the dugout.

Can we stop with this "leadoff hitter swinging at the first pitch" thing? Please?

Edit: Just like last inning: 4 pitches, 2 outs.

I understand that they don't want to be moving him all over the place, but playing infield for 3 or 4 games isn't going to kill him. Who knows, maybe getting back to the familiarity of the infield will help him snap out of his little hitting funk.

Anyway, the team said he could be used there in an emergency. Weeks, Braun, and Koskie are all injured or just coming off an injury. That, combined with losing streak and the putrid hitting of Counsell and Graffanino officially makes this worthy of "emergency" status if you ask me.

How about that for a nickname?? "The Young and the Restless" A little play on their soap opera appearance and the fact that its a young team and its been a while since they've won anything. Nice work Brian Anderson.

Gameday made it look like that ball landed in Oshkosh.

It might have. The stands stopped it.

Please tell me we're not going to get swept by Boof Bonser, a AAA pitcher and Ramon Ortiz!
