Man, Hart had a pitch to drive to RC there... wish he wouldn't have pulled it.

Nice job to get on the board & get Wainwright off cruise control.

ftlow: I think it's a bit of both. Gotta make that pitcher earn his outs. 8 or 9 pitches/inning is pathetic.

that first inning CV had reminded me of a game - against the Dodgers? Giants? - that Hendrickson had a few years back... anyone know where hendrickson is now?

if CV can get through 6 after that start it will be huge. i am leaning toward RLuz on his prediction...

i meant 5 innings for CV

He probably should be pulled after this inning he'll be over 80 pitches, pitched under heavy stress and his spot is up

You're probably right, but I'm hoping for the optimal situation.

Great catch by Gross!!! Really a result of good positioning, but still a great catch. And what a gutty performance by Villy after the first inning

If there is ONE thing you can say about V, it's that he does have great poise for a young guy. That's why, whether he gets Yosted down to AAA or not, he'll be just fine.

I don't think J.J. Hardy has seen more than 3 or 4 pitches tonight. Dude's pressing way too hard. Then again so is everyone else in the order.

Wow -- not sure what I think is better tonight: Wainwright's stuff, or his feel for his stuff. He's pitching incredibly well.

I still hate Gabe, he's garbage

CV batting here, huh. If he gets through 5 and only gives up the 3 runs, does that earn him a gritty tittle?
Everything I've ever known, I've learned from Brewerfan.net....Seriously though

Wainwright's definitely a very good young pitcher, but the Brewers are definitely helping him by doing things like flying out on the first pitch.
