Vargas only walked 2.7 per 9 last year and 3 per 9 the year before so this isn't normal for him. Wonder if maybe Maddux is tinkering with his release point and it just hasn't taken yet.

Seriously, Vargas. He can't even field today. You have to hit a small strikezone 60 1/2 feet away and you somehow don't have the accuracy to get a throw within range to be caught at 2nd base?

FSN Houston just showed Villanueva warming up in the bullpen with the ".220 Opp. Batting Avg." stat under his name. I laughed...Villanueva looks a lot better when you look at that stat and forget the 12,000 walks. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
