This has happened at a game before.....sometime in the last two years. It's terrible.

Some poor guy with his family died at Shea this year. I was at that game at Miller when the guy fell. Did he die? Think he did. Horrible.

Tragic, yes, but also reassuring is that it wasn't really an "accident" that could just be blind fate and happen to anyone. Don't do stupid things and you'll lessen your chances of dying unexpectedly.

A kid I went to HS with a few years back was doing something similar at Miller Park last year and ended up in the hospital for close to two weeks, not knowing if he was going to be able to walk for most of that time. He is walking and drinking again, watching baseball somewhere in between.

Purely anecdotally, these stadium falls seem to have gotten more common of late. (Not just the sliding-down-the-escalator type.)

About a half year ago I read an article about deaths and injuries at ballparks and one that was frequent which still doesn't make it common, was people getting broken necks from people falling on them from the aisles above. Think about that when some drunk is attempting to maneuver behind you.
