wow, the D-Backs are probably my 2nd favorite team and I can't believe we sit only 1 game behind them right now. The season sure is wacky.

C'mon Crew! Finish them! 8-1 home stand! YOU CAN DO IT!

I'll be at the game courtesy of Pizza Hut. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif First game of the year and hopefully another Brewers win

If it weren't for the Marlins and the Red Sox we would be so freaking awesome right now. We have played well against everyone except those two teams where we are 1-8. Luckily we won't have to face either until at least the playoffs http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Stupid Micah Owings. Who told the D'Backs they were allowed to have a DH?

Seriously, the dude can rake.

Seems like all opposing pitchers hit well against us. With Owings, I'll at least accept it because he can really hit.

Batter in the 9th spot (which includes pinch hitters and LaRussa):

Brewers: .472

NL: .507

That's from ESPN. Any site offers pitching splits by position faced?

We sure will be playing the Rockies at the right time. Who would have thought they'd be owners of the worst record in baseball after 1/3 of the season. Overloaded with injuries right now with Tulo, Barmes, Hawpe, Holliday, Luis Vizcaino, etc.

How come Ned doesn't take a page out of Arizona's book and bat the pitcher 8th when he is a better hitter than who would be the 8th batter.

D-Backs trying the ol' pitcher batting 8th. But with Owings it is a GREAT idea.

Woogie, yesterday I commented on the updated graphics, but now it's almost information overload. I love it!

haha, you think that was a lot of info.... i was about to put fielding stats in there too but decided that would be a lot of info. i discovered an easy way to update the charts with excel in which i just have to hit the refresh button and they update automatically. if you want any other type of stat just let me know because i can get it pretty easy now.

With Arizona's lineup I would bat Owings in the middle of the order

I remember one of his teammates (Connor Jackson, maybe?) saying that Owings actually has more power than any of the position players on the team.
