If the Brewers can chew up the Cardinals bullpen, it might have a ripple effect through the playoffs for STL.

i've got the cardinals feed...and they said that ned said Hall will be an outfielder next year...anyone else hear this?

I want Hall to be in the outfield next year but I think they're just blowing smoke.

Villy is rolling, and Houston is on the board!

... why am I cheering for Houston? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif

Hooray Mike Rivera!

I hope to see you back next year.

Yeah, but it's David Bell. We don't need him.

True he will probably not be back since 3B will be held dowb by either Hall, Koskie, Cirillo, or even maybe Braun. But I was just saying Bell sure played well down the stretch for us.

If STL must advance, I'd rather it be because of Houston's loss than ours. A technicality, but one that's important to me.

Looking forward to seeing what CV can do over a full season next year.

Me too I think he's going to be a good one.

*Sighs*

Is anyone else really depressed that Brewers Baseball is a few outs away from being done for another 6 months?

The season hasn't been the greatest, but I will miss these guys, especially Ueck and Powell.

Yea, I really do not like the feeling @ the end of the season (except 2002).

This is the end, my only friend.......

I'm going to assume CV is running out of gas here.

I'm impressed Ned actually went to get him and didn't leave him out there.

I don't know about "really depressed" but I am bummed today, despite CV's (largely) positive outing.

I was more "depressed" after I attended my final game of the year. At this point, I'm just happy to get this season in the rear view mirror, and hope for a playoff team next year. Let's just get it over with.

If we blow this lead...
