Seriously, how was this Yost's fault. We got within 1 strike of getting out of the inning without any runs scoring. Loading the bases to set up the DP did not lose the ball game. Throwing an 0-2 meatball did.

The 0-2 meatball wouldn't have given the lead up, however, so the IBB can't be ignored.

We are an absolute embarrasement on the road. On the bright side, we clinched at least the 8th pick in next year's draft!!

Hooray. I'll make sure early June is clear for me to throw a party. Yippee.

Yeah, I guess mine should have been in blue font too. I'm really not that excited about getting the 8th pick in next year's draft. It was a joke.

oh, I knew your comment was at least a semi-joke. I do find it ridiculous that we played "well" (for a 2006 NL team) for 2/3 of the season and the last month and change we stink it up and slink all the way back to the top 8 in the draft.

I guess that it will help in the long run (unless we draft another Krynzel) but I think 99 out of 100 of us would have preferred a genuine playoff race and media publicity (win or lose) and then end up with the #19 pick.

Normally I am not the one to yell about Yostedness, but today, we were Yosted.

Yost sent his homie Capellan back out there when he shouldn't have, then of course double switches in Brady Clark, probably our weakest outfielder defensively, for Jenkins, arguably our best. Clark's bobble(s) cost the lead run to score. Granted, Cordero made a horrible pitch, but yeah.
