Best characters on TV

It's Always Sunny has had such a limited run, that I feel wrong about listing any of the characters as "best ever" - they are all fantastic characters, especially Charlie, but I think the show needs another few years before I'm willing to make that claim. Actually, Rickety Cricket might be my favorite character on that show.

One of my all time favorite lines from any show was when Coach answered the phone at Cheers and then asked if there was an Ernie Pantuzo there to which Sam Malone replied "that's you Coach" and then Coach back into the phone says "Speaking". Cracks me up every time.
