Bannister's gone after 4. We'll get to face some long relief joker. Then things'll change. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Well Sheets is pitching. We should come to expect this type of offensive futility on days he toes the rubber.

Nope, this inning was 1 out.

Yeah you're right, im just mad, I forgot about Lee's popout. Either way we should be winning. The most interesting thing about this game is the way the ump calls strikes. He sounds weird.

when the end of the season comes and we missed the playoffs, by lets say 7 or 8 games, you can point to games like this that we will end of losing.

Playoff teams dont have these things happen in back to back innings.

Teams that miss the playoffs do.

Sad, just sad. New year, same ole inconsistent Brewers offense.

I know its the players up there hitting, but can it be anything about Butch that causes these problems too? Its almost as if they are thinking TOO much up there instead of just relaxing and seeing the ball and hitting the ball. I think Butch puts TOO much emphasis on what to do with RISP. I dont know, frustrating to say the very least.

That was the best K of the year for a Brewer pticher, well probally the funniest, Delgado thinks he walks, then 3-1 count, gets him looking, 3-2 goes to Fielder and he trys to keep it fair, then Sheets just K's him out.

good to see a run in. Nice job JJ and Gabe.

I saw Bannister's last two starts on tv, and this is different. In the others, he threw strikes at a similar rate to Bush. Not this Ohka-like control

Yeah they did play him deep because it looks like Nady just ran sideways, Ugly catch. Good inning, I'll take 1 run an inning from here on out. Now is that Bannisters last inning? 96 pitches 53 for strikes. But only 4 innings.

Whew, I can take off he rope from around my neck. Too bad JJ didn't get a hit there. The Jenks double would have tied the game.
