Yost botched that big time. You bunt Cirillo and you know you are left with Jenkins versus a lefty and then Isringhouse. Why give up a batter and an out against Wainright in order to see that?

While I see your point (and I agree with it - the sacrifice bunt is absolutely the most overused play in baseball IMHO), this decision is coming from a manager who once hit his pitcher eighth and the catcher ninth for the balance of a season.
