2009 Brewerfan.net Winter Meetings - TONIGHT! Kelly's Bleachers in Milwaukee

It's that time of year everyone. The weather should be warming a bit soon. Equipment trucks have been loaded up, Pitchers and Catchers report very soon. Perhaps most important to the baseball world are the annual Brewerfan.net Winter Meetings.

The Winter Meetings are a time for all members of the site and their spouses to gather for food, drink, and friendship. Mostly, it's a time to talk ball. Brewers Ball. I'm going to work on a few surprises this year so let's get a -huge- crowd this year! I want to see at least 20 people strong!

Let's get the entire softball team there! Let's get folks from near and far! This year's location has been carefully selected and offers great food and a baseball atmosphere. A regular stop for post game celebration, Kelly's Bleachers is a great place to go.

On 14 March at around 7:30 pm, the festivities shall begin. We have our own area reserved. We have several opportunities this year, so come out and make yourself known!

 

I need a rough head count so I can get us all set up, so please set a reservation below and let me know how many guests you will bring.

I am fairly new to Milwaukee and bf.net and I think that this would be a great event. I am definitely interested to meet some fellow Brewer fans, eat, drink and talk Brewers baseball. Count me in +1.

While a fine idea, I would rather not ask folks to pony up the cash for a shirt. If you wanna design something and donate it, cool. If not though, just wearing Brewers garb is the general practice.

Sounds like a great idea. I'll try to get a few other buddies to come with, though they aren't big on the BF.net scene, they love talking baseball!

 

Right now I'm about 80% in +1 or 2. I'll give you a final notice in a few weeks.

Are there any plans for regional events? I'd love to meet up with any Brewers' fans here in the Bay Area/NorCal, and I know there are a few of us.
