Lindsay Lohan - Don't you have a clue?

Well, for the entertainment enthusiasts out there... and for fathers of teen daughters, this is something you could feast your eyes on. The latest arrest of Lindsay Lohan Tuesday morning after being caught with cocaine and suspicion of DUI, like her third or something.

Lohan keeps getting into trouble

What is mostly hilarious is that Lohan was due to be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno Tuesday night and now they got Rob Schneider as Lohan.

She used to be so hot. One of the main reasons I went to see Mean Girls.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

Lohan is like the reverse Oprah Winfrey, like the old SNL skit where someone says, "She's fat, she's thin, she's fat, she's thin, just pick a body and stick with it."

But for Lohan, it is, "She's anorexic, she's normal, she's anorexic, she's normal, just pick a body and stick with it."

And you actually saw Mean Girls for Lohan? I watched it for Lacey Chabert. And Lohan sometimes looks plain nasty.

Her too, oh yeah and Rachel McAdams.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

First of all, that is a simply amazing AP photo of Lohan.

Second, Mean Girls was hilarious.

and C - Rachel McAdams is gorgeous in my book no matter what color hair she has.

I'm sorry, what were we talking about? Oh yeah, from Parent Trap to her third DUI, my respect for Lohan has been pretty much decimated.

I'm saddened by all of this.

I'm saddened that she's so screwed up.

I'm saddened that people spend so much time reading about these celebs.

I'm saddened that there is an entire industry devoted to stalking out celebs to take photos that are usually accompanied by some snarky comment about them.

I'm saddened that all this time, money and effort could be spent doing good things in the world, instead of destructive/self-destructive.

This is America at its ugliest.

well said, JimH5, well said!

I'm glad I don't pay attention to any of that garbage in the entertainment world.

2 points:

1) Lindsay needs to spend some time behind bars....and hire a driver. (She needs a Turtle to her Vincent Chase.)

2) Rachel McAdams is gorgeous as a blonde (Mean Girls), brunette (Wedding Crashers) or redhead (Red Eye). Anyone who says otherwise is just wrong.

Hollywood is a form of entertainment, whether it be movies or the crazy and stupid things they do out in public. Same can be said for athletes. Any time a well known athlete does something stupid, it is all over the news. Because it's entertainment for us. Also important to note is that there are thousands of atheletes and Hollywood types that lead normal lives and don't do stupid things for everyone to see.

This is the most correct statement ever put forth on to Brewerfan.

Has anyone seen the commercials for the new Lohan movie, "I Know Who Killed Me"? The preview barely even acknowledges that she's in the film, much less the main star. And what gets lost in all this is that she's, IMO, a pretty decent actress. Tis a shame.

Well put Jim. Sad thing is, it won't change. As media will want to cover said famous person to show what hot trends they are wearing to sell those over sized super expensive sun glasses.

Rachel McAdams is sooo not ugly. She's talented, and seems like a decent normal person. Lohan deserves jail, and/or rehab and not another momment of any of our collective time, thoughts or attention.

I think the difference is that when Michael Vick gets in trouble off the field, that's news, or when Tony LaRussa gets arrested, that's news. It's generally not news when Brett Favre gets a haircut, or Prince Fielder buys a t-bone at the grocery store, or Ned Yost buys a new car.

When Lindsay Lohan gets her mail, that's "news". When she goes to a bar, that's "news". When she looks like she just woke up and it's noon, that's "news." When she's eating a frozen pizza, that's "news", and more than likely there will be pictures of it all.

I can understand athletes and entertainers making news when they do something truly stupid or outrageous or illegal. What I don't understand is why their everyday, humdrum activities are "news" and why so many people eat it up.

I actually liked Mean Girls...A LOT.
That's because Tina Fey is hilarious. She made, with this movie, perhaps the most seamless transition from SNL to the silver screen - largely because she didn't need to simply stretch a character or skit out for an hour and a half. Imho, it seemed like she'd been working on that script for a long time before she got it sold (as in, while on SNL). I loved that picture.

1. I never knew the girl in Mean Girls was the same as the one in Wedding Crashers. She is so much hotter in Wedding Crashers.

2. I love Tina Fey.

Although I did laugh a couple of times at Mean Girls, I will always be anti-Tina Fey.

Her tenure as head writer at SNL was abhorrent. The most obvious example was how poor Weekend Update became when she hosted with that no-talent hack Jimmy Fallon. Compare this to Norm, Dennis Miller, or even Kevin Nealon. Maybe they just couldn't keep up with the stuff Jon Stewart was doing with the news, I don't know. But it was generally just a bunch of lame jokes directed at high-schoolers.

In conclusion, Jim Downey was awesome. End of rant.

I'm not trying to make excuses for her, I don't follow gossip rags, and I don't honestly care what happens to her...

But, she needs legitimate rehab, not Hollywood day spa rehab. She doesn't need to be thrown in jail and be mocked. But, you know which one of those is going to happen. She's in a tough spot, she obviously screwed up, but just up and leaving Hollywood (which I'm sure a lot of people are saying she should do) is a lot easier said than done when you are the breadwinner for a lot of people (family, friends, etc.) and obviously she likes attention.

And I agree that Tina Fey is pretty lame. I've never seen Mean Girls, but she was pretty bad on SNL. I do think she's oddly hot, but that's all.

I love Tina Fey, and Lohan is still incredibly attractive.

Lohan is not any more irresponsible than most 18-23 year-olds I know, she's just famous and gets caught a lot. Her folks are both disasters, so even if she went somewhere for guidance, it's unlikely she'd get good advice.

Yeah no kidding. I don't know any 18-23 year olds who have been in rehab for 6 weeks, have an eating disorder, alcohol problems AND drug problems.

When I was 18-23 almost everyone I knew had an eating disorder, drinking problem, and/or a drug problem. They just couldn't afford rehab, and they weren't constantly in the public eye like Lohan is.

Good grief the midwest is a veritable cornucopia of Meth and alcohol abusers. Toss in cocaine, marijuana, and X and it isn't hard to find recreational users just about anywhere.
