Beautiful night.

Are you there?

No, about five miles away.

It's a downer but I waited too long to get tickets and couldn't really afford them right now with the town in pennant fever pitch.

Maybe it's for the best, I'm 4-5 seeing them here, 4-8 on the West Coast.

Dang it, we're missing Buster Posey T-shirt night. But I'll take the early run instead...unless our scoring against the Giants violates the integrity of the pennant race.

I ask because I thought there was a Brewer fan that looked just like you. You are the one that posted pics with Trenni a few yrs ago, correct? /creeper

Ha. This year I'm fine with that. I like the Giants outta the teams in the NL West, and obviously we're going nowhere. Just stay away years we're actually good.

Well, I was disappointed I wouldn't get to see Cain and Lucroy tonight

Thanks Macha.

Anyway, yeah, that was me with Trenni. Seems a long time ago now, bah.

I can never ever root against the Brewers, but I have to admit that, even with the semi-bad blood recently with the Giants, I won't entirely relish seeing them play spoilers again the locals, because I'd like to see the Giants make the plaoffs for a few reasons. That said, I want to see the Brewers do it all the same--that 4 game sweep in Milwaukee was brutal.

You think it was brutal from a couple of time zones away...I was at the Lincecum/Narveson debacle. And thanks for the reminder.

Gomez robbed of a base hit by McGehee!

GoGo has smoked it hard twice tonight. He can't afford to not have those fall in.

Gomez has been smoking the ball the past few days.

Braun is destroying the ball this past month .

Struggling to hit and committing errors in a meaningful September game...sounds like something that would happen to the Brewers.

Come on, Randy.

Edit: There you go!

How do the rest of you who are still up feel about Randy staying in for the 9th? (Though it's easier for you Cali guys to still be up.)

Edit: I'm happy to say never mind! Nice work, Woof. Good night, everybody.

I normally don't get to watch West Coast games as per my schedule, but it was nice to watch a dandy when I could watch it. Go Brewers!

Impressive start from Wolf. He took his ERA from 4.53 to 4.32 with one start. I wonder what it might look like without that terrible Pittsburgh game.
If he simply did not make that start against Pittsburgh, his ERA would be 3.88. If he still had a bad game, giving up 6 runs instead of 12, it would be 4.17.
