I would like to see Casey moved down in the order for a few games. RR needs to do something to wake him up. Outside of Braun and Prince no one should be safe on this team right now.

Honestly, Greinke looks very average to me this season. I'm 10x more impressed with Shaun Marcum. At this point, very disappointed in him.

He has spurts where he looks great, then regresses and gives up hits in bunches...

28 K's: 2BB's is pretty nuts, but maybe he's throwing too many strikes. I know he didn't really have a Spring Training and all that, but he's just given up too many hits.

Not serious. Well, maybe I am. I don't know what to make of this team anymore. Greinke and Marcum coming aboard were exciting, but I think they made folks forget about some serious flaws that were easy to forget when you weren't actually watching this team every day.

To that point, I'm still not sure Melvin would trade Prince even if they're well under .500. I think he will sink or swim with the team he assembled and has resigned himself to the fact he'll get his draft picks for Prince when he signs elsewhere. A Prince trade sure could fill some glaring holes for us though (namely SS/CF)

Yeah most of his numbers suggest he is pitching better than the runs he's giving up but K/BB ratio doesn't mean anything when he goes out there and pitches 5 good innings and 1 or 2 terrible ones, and does that every appearance

The concern for me isn't exactly the number of hits he's been giving up, it's that when batters do get hits, they tend to be more well hit rockets more so than just some back luck where a bunch of seeing eye grounders or flares are missing gloves.

Lucroy has really been a pleasant surprise this season. How are his pitches per atbat? I could be wrong but he seems to work the count better than most. Maybe that's because he seems to hit after Betancourt and that's just how it seems.
