Haha, Anderson acting like Weeks was gonna run all day on that one and he just eases into second with a double. The last thing Rickie wants to do right now is make another out on the bases.
i don't think he was expecting Ellsbury to get there so quickly to cut it off. Usually when a guy dives and misses like Cameron did the ball bounces around for a bit and the hitter has a chance to go three. But yea, definitely jumped the gun a little bit.

The Brewers could learn a thing or two from Boston regarding patience at the plate.

While it would be nice, our current players are successful doing what they are doing. Changing that may have adverse effects. We just need a couple better hitters.

Fan is short for fanatic.

Didn't Hawkins talk to RR about pitching in more high leverage situations? Maybe that will give him a chance of getting in the 8th in this one.

Well, we are almost halfway through the Randy Wolf contract, and so far I'd have to say that it has been a success. He started off so poorly last year that he had a lot of ground to make up with the fans. His last 30 starts or so have been relatively outstanding.
