ha ha, that was my mistake! I completely read the thread title wrong in my tired state. I needed to go to bed instead of posting so late, especially after getting back from a going-away party for a friend.

I think it's useful going into the series to realize that it's more important to them than it is to us. Neither team has an obvious hurdle left on the schedule, but the 9 head to head games with them having 6 at home gives them a real good chance to even the score. That calculation changes quite a bit though if the Brewers win this series. Then your down 4 games in the middle of August with no schedule advantage. Far from impossible, but there downside to the series is potentially being well towards the margin. Our downside is ending up in a dead heat.

FWIW, the BP has the Brewers' playoff percentage higher than fellow division leaders Texas (81.5%) and Detroit (65.6%).
