That'a boy. Take advantage of the low strike zone... not much off the corners though. I suspect we continue to see the ball pitched down. Maybe we can see Yuni golf one down low early in the count.

Can they stop talking about one of the worst no-hitters in the history of the MLB? He walked 8 in that 'no-hitter'. Wonderful he allowed no hits, but he still had 9 base runners... going a complete game in 149 pitches while allowing 9 runners shouldn't receive praise from opponents' announcers every time he pitches. I am certainly more impressed with a CG 3-hitter with no walks than a no-hit 8 BB performance. He averaged one base-runner per inning... which is good, but not worthy enough to receive significant praise every three innings from the Brewers.

Again, I think it was a great performance, but not mentioning the stats behind it is a bit misleading.

Ok BA just said that Marcum went to SW Missouri St about two innings ago, and then it's the trivia question. This is such an amateurish broadcast.

Wasn't his no hitter more difficult because he walked so many people and threw so many pitches?

That's one way to spin it.

You don't think my statement is accurate?

That entire redbirds IGT thread is one dude saying what happens every play. Jeepers.

Marcum looking good; lets keep adding on here though.

And the two guys who thanked that guy for saying what happens every play. And the one guy who just compared Marcum to Suppan. Except Marcum has been good his entire career.

This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

Aytumious, that's like saying a win by a quarterback who threw three picks in the first quarter is more impressive... it was his fault in the first place for giving up walks, just as it would be his fault for giving up a hit. With that logic Claudio Vargas should have won Cy Young.

But an interesting way of looking at it. I do still think a 3-hit CG is more impressive and dominant.

Corey's face is more misshapen, but otherwise, yeah, I can see that.

/silently cursing the chat room that doesn't want to let me in

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I don't see it... Corey doesn't give himself much help though. At least he got rid of his awkward sideburn things. I think it might be harder to get rid of his tattoo of.... whatever it is.
