Not really, this is only his 65th game since he missed two months. Plus he plays half his games at Citi Field, one of the biggest parks in the league. So if he played a full year, he'd probably have 25 HR and close to 100 RBI.

You are probably right but if there ever was a time to get your point across to a star player it would be now, wih a 7 game lead.

 

It was stupid but I don't think it deserves a benching. If it was someone like Milton Bradley who always gets into it with umpires then sure. But like I said, Braun rarely gets tossed. There is absolutely no reason to bench him after this one incident.
