Tough break for the kid pitcher. He probably wasn't expecting to pitch today and hadn't reviewed any tape on the Brewers.

 

I wouldn't be against pulling Weeks at this point.

Get Lucroy and Weeks out of there. Good chance for Maldonado to see some extended action. Maybe Schaefer in the OF too?

I'd let Weeks play another few innings, but yeah for sure on Lucroy. Considering he doesn't ever actually get a real day off.

Sorry if this is old news, but the Reds announcers were saying that Brewers had NFL dressup day on the flight into Cinncinati. Marcum dressed as a Green Bay Packer with helmet and full pads. Funny stuff.

The TV guys said that Maloney was supposed to pitch tomorrow. Moving a pitcher up by a day on an hour's notice is pretty Dusty-esque. If a pitcher needs to be moved up by a day, the non-Dusty tack would be to do it with couple of days notice.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Who is feeding the announcers these lines? Yuni hasn't been exceptional at anything ever, except hitting meaningless popups...

Basically if you're a shortstop who can't hit worth a crap, you're going to be known as a 'slick fielder'.
