Don't you mean gray? Sky hasn't been blue in days. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

This is the lineup I'd like to see tomorrow:

1. Counsell, SS

2. Gomez, RF

3. JHJ, CF

4. Kotsay, 1B

5. Green, 3B

6. Wilson, 2B

7. Schaefer, LF

8. Maldonado, C

9. Fiers, P

And I wanna see them win that game too. Go Brewers! Go Dodgers!

That Phillips HR BA mentioned was incredible. I was at that game...grand slam off Carlos Villanueva, loudest crack of the bat I've ever heard. It actually made me flinch a little.

I don't think Schafer is allowed to hit. Seriously he's been up nearly a month and has 5 PAs.

I highly doubt Prince will sit when he's played every game so far. I don't see the need to sit guys when they have two days off already. You don't want them coming out flat on Saturday. At least give the main starters a couple of ABs before taking them out.

This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

Yuni should have at least knocked it down, but let's not overlook the fact that Wolf gave up a double/single to the 8 and 9 hitters in this inning. That is not excusable and sets up for a big inning. The Pirates have 8 hits already too.

I don't know if you can call that softball swing chopper by the pitcher a legit single. WOlf was pitching to contact assuming a bunt, and the fact it chopped over his head into the OF was pretty lucky. Yuni has to keep that in the infield, and to be honest every other shortstop in the league gloves that standing for an out.

panthernick, you're not the only one. I've taken batter nine's name in vain already tonight. To be fair, there have been no sacred cows this year.

Roenicke should not be considered for Manager of the Year. The talent was there to win and I think they've done so despite a lot of mistakes from him. I think Gibson should win it easily since the DBacks weren't expected to be this good and he's won with a lot of "no-name" players.
