I don't really have any confidence in any of the Brewer RP right now. April can be funny like that with bullpens though. I'm sad that Veras is still out there to face Altuve though when he hasn't shown the ability to command his pitches at all tonight.

I will say Veras seems to get squeezed on a couple pitches every outing, incl this one. And another play Mcgehee never would have made.

I didn't like it either but it is certainly a gray area. You need the RP to get some pitches in to find their stuff so you have to have a little longer leash in April. However the fact the team has scuffled out of the gate and are playing one of the worst teams in baseball and blew a big lead would make this such a devastating loss that I'd be managing it a bit differently than if we were say 12-6 or something.
