Agreed, I haven't watched the Office that much this season but from the few episodes I saw, the season has not seemed that great.

it's kinda too bad the Schrute Farms series wasn't picked up, because i thought the pilot to it was pretty good.

Did the pilot air on network TV?

Last night's episode of The Office was the pilot. It was meh.

This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

About half the pilot aired and the rest was some nonsense with Packer and the rest of the Office. Was not a fan of what they showed of the pilot.

I've been catching up this season and watched last night's episode. It's pretty good. The Jim & Pam thing is resolved now and another surprise happens. Oh and Aaron Rodgers in the episode too.

yeah, while this season as been very week, i really liked the last 2 episodes. i enjoyed the jim/pam retrospective as well BCF.

just wanted to let you know that there is an hr look back before the show on thursday that should be just as good as the finale i think.

oh . . . so the 2-hour finale is part recap (first hour) and part new (second hour)?

That's kind of disappointing.

That's the way it looks at this point. I don't think there's really much to wrap up. Looks like it will be the Angela/Dwight wedding and that's about it.

I was hoping Steve Carrell would make a cameo before the end of the series, but not looking like that's happening unless there's a big surprise in the finale.

if he does, it is unknown to all, from what i read kelly and ryan are the own cast members scheduled to reappear, with a bunch of guest stars making their first appearance on the show.

I read an interview with Greg Daniels, and although he doesn't outright say it, it sounds like Michael Scott will be in the final episode. If he weren't included in the final episode, I'm sure he would just come out and admit it, instead of beating around the bush. Michael Scott only moved to Denver, he wasn't killed off.

This season of the Office has been surprisingly funny. I have really liked him teaching Dothraquee (sp? the language from Game of Thrones), among other surprises.

I'll miss 1600 Penn. The first episode was bad, but as they've developed the characters it's been hilarious. The biggest show I'll miss is Happy Endings. I watched it with my fiancee at first just because of Elisha Cuthbert, but then I realized the show was wacky and totally slapstick...my favorite kind of humor. It was clean and hilarious.

It's Dwight's wedding. I would be really surprised if Michael wasn't invited or didn't decide to show up. It wouldn't make much sense story wise for him not to be there.

I agree with this, I mean he did show up for the wrap party in Scranton so it's not like he is trying to distance himself from the show. The finale shouldn't revolve around him but he should certainly make an appearance at his friend Dwight's wedding.

Series finale is TONIGHT.

only if I say it is. :)

I may choose to wait until tomorrow to watch it or something.

Amazing series finale. It was touching and the series went out with a bang. By far without a doubt the best episode of the season and one of the best of the series. I was sad as the episode approached the end.

And Michael Scott does in fact make an appearance. I was screaming when he appeared.

Writers get an A+ for the finale.

I watched the final 2 episodes after sitting out most of seasons 7-9. Good stuff. Reminiscent of the quality of the first episode I caught live: "Christmas Party". Oh, those were the days. 2005, you rocked!

Yeah, pretty enjoyable. Low on the humor meter but it wasn't needed.

Not that it wasn't funny--it was. Just in a different way.

SPOILERS BELOW

It wasn't a bad episode but I would have preferred more comedy than warm fuzzies. Also would have helped if they had 2 hours. They tried to cram too much into one episode. The panel discussion could have been great but was way too short. Also would have liked the show to have ended with Creed being taken off by the cops.
